"On arrival 2nd room booked was not ready. Both rooms were unswept dusty & dirty, kitchen light did not work. Shower tray was blocked and dirty. Drainhole on bathroom floor didn't work. Toilet was dirty. Only one kettle between 2 Apts, and it needed a good clean as it was full of limescale. The icebox comparment in the fridge was so iced up, it was hard to shut the fridge door. We only received two towels and one thin toilet roll to last a week. Totally unacceptable rental accommadation, should be removed from your books. I stayed in Spiradoula Apartments of Lourdas in May 08. The price was much cheaper than I paid for Afro Studios, they also were basic but I can assure you they were very clean and icluded maid service. What a contrast, I can only assume the young couple in charge of Afro Studios will be released from service."

"The accommodation was basic which we expected but it was not clean! There were no saucepans so we couldn't cook anything, no tea towels and no washing up bowl or plug for the kitchen sink. The towels were tatty and stained and we had to request linen change via telephone as we did not see any representative of Afro's the whole time we were there (we had left numerous notes on our apartment door requesting the missing items but as they were never cleaned throughout the stay the notes were never read). The shower was particularly antiquated! The nearest mini market and tavernas were closed for winter meaning closest were 5km away in Lassie therefore hire car was essential. On a positive note we had two nice balconies and the pool and garden areas were well maintained (the pool toliet being cleaner than our apartments!). The whole place had an air of neglect to be honest but we did not let it spoil our holiday."

"The place was lovely and we returned after staying there last year, and though we enjoyed the holiday the hygiene and cleaning standards were very poor. The drains were blocked and though we reported the problem and showed the overflowing drain, we had to clean the excess ourselves (which were faeces over the path). We were told that they were waiting for the drains to be fixed, but the sink and shower took about 12 hours to empty and it was not possible to clean them. The toilet was disgusting and we took to using the public toilets by the pool, which were never cleaned during our stay."

"There was no restaurants near the apartment and the nearest was walking up a steep hill. There was no bus service so it was either getting a taxi or hiring a car."

"Pleasant rooms and setting, super pool. Car hire an absolute must as there is nowhere to dine and drink within walking distance and no buses stop nearby. Very basic shop almost next door and only a short walk to the beach. Perfect for a get away from it all break. Very close to the airport and take-offs - not an issue as there is very little aircraft activity."

"Although in a very remote area (car hire recommended) lovely apartment block, very clean and tidy and the english owner Andy is extrmely helpful.

Great place for peace and quiet and relaxing."
