"Family rooms are not large enough to cater for a family of five. We had to move to two adjoining rooms.
Restaurant staff and bar staff a bit too laid back and you often had to go and order your own drinks as staff very slow to serve (but quick to ask for tips).
Floor in resataurant not very clean - needed a good hoovering and scrub.
This hotel seemed to be plagued by flies and ants which is not something we had experienced at other Hurghade hotels."

"This hotel is more2 star than 3 very tired but rooms clean.

The food is awful all meat was like leather. I eat a very varied and multi cultural diet all over the world but this is not acceptable. Some Brits were saying they were only catering for the russians. Been there to food much better than this.
This is a real shame waiters work so hardand food that is taken is left and wasted.

Very near to beach all sand taken up with wind breaks and sun beds snorkelling not good 100% better in Sharm and Nuweiba.

Upside you have 3 good pools and surrounding areas. You can use facilities of hotels either side The Ali Baba and Jasmine Village.
But sorry won't be returning better places to goto.

Took bus into main town one eve took about 20 mins
waste of time all shops the same shop jungle!"

"There were fewer English compared with our last visit and language was a problem. The staff were helpful and the entertainment was good.
The hotel is looking tired and is in need of refurbishment and redecoration.
Definitely not 4 star."

"I have been to egypt a few times now and I have to say that this is the worst hotel I have ever had the misfortune to stay at, we were all inc and treated very badly! I caught the room boy spying on people in their rooms through cracks in the wooden doors, the food was tastless, and stone cold due to the air conditioning being up to high, 99% of the staff were rude, unhelpfull and sometimes nasty with it. The majority of the guests were Russians who you also had to contend with they were just as rude and nasty. The snorkeling is un-impressive off the beach and the diving not much better! If you want to go to Egypt please go to Sharm el Sheikh!!!!!!"

"Been here before, like it a lot. Very comfortable, can use the facilities of the 2 adjoining hotels which are in the same group. Not the newest hotel, but good location, friendly staff, plenty of food, good facilities. Good price too."

"The hotel was not like european 4star but quite ok.clean every day,fresch towels etc.
I think that very good location,close to the beach and restaurant.You can easy take a bus going to the town centre(twice a day)We could use Jasmine and Alibaba hotels for dinners ,breakfast ,lunch ,drinks ,coffe if you have all inclusive.No problem to make a phone call to home,exchange money or book trips.
I can say that about 90% quests are Russians, but there was no problem with them.I did not notice ,that they are rude or loudly.
I spent really nice time there,and i consider to come back with my family."

"having stayed at the Aladdin before and quite happy withour stay ,now that it has gone all inclusive the standard has drop were the food is concerned it was awful!and I mean awful! we were starving living on dish wash soup and tasteless pasta. 256 Russians to our 36 English apart from that it was okay.would not call it 4 star though."

"This is the 3rd time we have stayed at this hotel and found it good value for money. The food is not as good as first stay but there is always plenty of choice. Rooms very airy and kept clean, grounds well maintained. Service at beach bars erratic but OK if you wait."

"We had 1200 Rusian and German guests and 36 British in the 3 hotel complex.
The team employed to help us have a great time, stretching ,water polo, darts etc were very noisy. No quiet around the swimming pool for most of the day."

"OK for a short break, def not a 2 week location. As we only went to relax after sight seeing in Egypt it was OK for us. More geared up for Russian tourists rather than English. That said, we still enjoyed the beach and relaxing in the sun!"

"Rooms quite old fashioned but very clean and everything you need.

Drinks at all the bars were warm. Restaurant catered for Russians and Germans - I have been All Inclusive several times before (Carribean, Sharm, Europe) and have never had such little choice of food. Waiters were rude until the last day when they new that we were flying home and wanted a tip. You were lucky if you got your drink before you finished your meal.

Night time entertainment was a bit repetative (same 2 guys singing at the main bar every night)!!!!

Pool was ok and you didn't need to get there too early for the sun beds.

We spent most of our holiday at the Ali baba hotel next door (this is included in the All Inclusive package)"

"The 1st room we were given was totally unacceptable, but after insistence, we got a much better one with nicer outlook. If you're unhappy with something do say.It seems you have to be 'firm' with them. Tipping is virtually essential & goes go a long way to improving service; not a lot gets done for you unless you do. Our cleaning boy even complained at the 'small tip' (£5)!!
All Inclusive clients certainly don't get the same attention & service as paying on the day peopledo!
Food average & repetitive, one of us had 'egyptian tummy' after a couple of nights. Generally acceptable though.
Pool area, beach front fine, very clean & in constant attendance. Nice clean towels everyday.
Sea warm, pool freezing.
Generally an above average holiday.
Mojority of clients Russian."

"The beach was poor (almost non existent), very little snorkelling off the beach which was a shame, nice pool, room was fine, food not great and the staff were fine once you got to know them, but I think the high number of Russians (who are rude to the staff which makes the staff unhappy and quite miserable) that visit the hotel make this one to avoid. Having said that, for all I know all the hotels in Hurghada could have such a high Russian contingent ....... and I paid such a low price that for a weeks relaxing and sun bathing it was happy with my choice of hotel."

"The Egypt arabs as with many arabs often seem to be in your face but they are trying to be friendly. The love to talk especially to tthe British as oposed to the Russians (not sure why). A £10 LE tip goes down well on the beach - thats about 10p uk"

"Very good hotel. Friendly and very helpful staff, always willing to assist in any way despite limited English.

The rooms are clean and there was always water in the fridge - a nice touch. Great location on the beach and the pools at the hotel are lovely. Very clean - although watch out for the unheated pool, a slight shock to the system!!"
