  • "Most staff very friendly and helpful. Generally high standard - quite luxurious - but with some strange gaps - for instance, they cooked boiled eggs for my daughter's breakfast beautifully, but the waitress couldn't find an egg-cup to put them in."

  • Top Tip:

"The open-top bus tours, and the Guinness Storehouse."

  • TRISHA from TENBY reviewed the Burlington Dublin Hotel

  • "To stay in a 4 star hotel at the price you gave was fantastic. Had I been paying their full price I would have expected even more luxuries, however - there were no biscuits with the tea and coffee maker, and the tap water was said to be not for drinking (this was in the guests' directory - there was no warning notice by the taps themselves). The concierges were very knowledgeable and friendly."

  • Top Tip:

"De Vincenzo's, round the corner, is a nice unpretentious Italian restaurant, and not expensive by Dublin standards."

  • Alison from Christchurch reviewed the Burlington Dublin Hotel

  • "The only critisism I have of the hotel is it's position in Dublin. It is off the tourist route and means that you need to take a taxi if you want to go anywhere unless you are prepared for a relatively long walk. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast excellent in a very impressive dining room. Very good traditional hotel"

  • Helen from Galashiels reviewed the Burlington Dublin Hotel

  • "The hotel was excellent from arrival to departure. Rooms were first class. Staff very friendly and courteous. The hotel is a good ten/fifteen minute walk to the centre of dublin its a really pleasant walk to St Stepehns Gate. Food is excellent and we actually found the hotel bar cheaper than drinking in town. The hotel will keep your bags after you have checked out if you have a late flight, this allows you to do some final sightseeing/shopping without having to drag your suitcase along. Would definately go back to this hotel again."

  • Top Tip:

"Shop in Henry Street it has the same shops as Grafton Street only much cheaper !
The Guiness Brewery is a must do. Its a fantastic tour even for a non Guiness fan and the views from the top in the Gravity Bar are breathtaking."

"The Canal Bank Cafe is a great place for lunch or dinnner and has an amazing menu to choose from. It is just a 1 minute walk from the hotel."

  • Cassie from Stoneleigh reviewed the Burlington Dublin Hotel

  • "Great hotel with very helpful staff on reception and in the bar. The breakfast was excellent with a huge range of choice. About a 20 min walk into the city centre but didnt feel like it took that long. Bus from airport stops right outside of hotel.
Only bad side is you could hear the music from the bar and on the Saturday night they had a ball in the hotel and we could hear the music from that even though we were on the otherside of the hotel. Drinks from the hotel bar were the same price as Temple Bar. Would stay at this hotel again."

  • Katie from Hatfield reviewed the Burlington Dublin Hotel

  • "Hotel room was extremely noisy on both Friday and Saturday night. When i complained at 1.30am i was advised that all Dublin hotels were noisy to which i responded that if i had wanted to be kept up all night then i would have booked to stay in Temple Bar. We were moved rooms shortly after this conversation so i would suggest to your customers that if they are staying here at the weekend then they need to request a front facing room which does not over look the inner courtyard and therefore the noise.
Breakfast was also very poor with below average selection and poor service. Every day we have to request tea and toast after waiting over 15 mins to be seen to. The hot food was not worth paying the additonal for as it was greasy and luke warm. Stick with the slightly better continental selection."

  • Top Tip:

"There is a small Italian restaurant very close to this hotel which was very good"

Hotel Details - Burlington Dublin Hotel

Legendary large business orientated hotel located just a short walk from the city centre. Extensive conference facilities means large corporate events are often held here although the hotel's facilities are equally suited to the leisure traveller. The property's unattractive concrete exterior is in no way reflective of its smart interior. As a popular meeting venue, the large bright lobby lounge is invariably buzzing and the adjoining atmospheric Irish bar is popular with guests and locals alike. The bedrooms have been recently renovated and are now furnished in a stylish contemporary style more reflective of the hotel's favourable reputation amongst Dubliners.
