"Room very small and dark, awful smell coming from shower everytime toilet flushed. Paid to stay in differnet hotel after 2 nights."
Top Tip:
"The Village and Elias are two very good restaurants. Koukounaries beach is very nice."

"Having visited Skiathos on numerous occasions we did not expect 5* luxury, just clean, basic accommodation, but we found this hotel to be very tired and in need of upgrading and the room quite small. The bathroom door did not stay closed, door handle was falling off, shower tray did not drain very well (which was reported but nothing was done!) we had to fix the toilet ourselves on 2 occasions as it would not stop flushing. We visit this island normally twice a year - but wouldn't go back to this particular hotel - unless they do a major overhall of the place."

"2 good places to eat in Koukounaries are Strophilia and Ilia's"

"Very friendly staff and good service all round. Bathroom facilities were a bit dilapidated. fly screens for the windows would be a very good addition."
Top Tip:
"Agia Eleni beach for the best sunsets. Koukounaries beach in the early morning for the best swimming. Golden Beach hotel restaurant does EXCELLENT roast lamb."

"basic but ok ,could do with a re-furb,bathroom not good, took a long time for hot water to get through.very good food in the restaraunt."
Top Tip:
"hotel panarama food exelent. dionyssos taverna in skiathos town well worth a visit 12 euros for a 3 course meal with coffee and brandy."
