"We found the staff on reception really helpful. The Chinese restaurant was terrible with reheated food and the staff unresponsive to critism. The main restaurant food was really good and the chefs really nice. A week at this resort is enough as the evening entertainment was quite non existant. Trips from the hotel were difficult to arrange and expensive. I would recommend this hotel as a weeks chill out break just to stay there and do nothing. The christmas gala evening was really good but needed to be staggered to prevent the crowds!!. over all we had a great time."
Top Tip:
"we went to Eilat for the day to dive with the dolphins the border is a 5 minute walk away. it was a lovely trip to do dolphin reef was great."

"As I entered room number 1, I was surprised that there was no beds for my two children, though the room was reserved for 4 people (2 adults and 2 children). Moreover, room number 2 did not have a cot for the 0ne-year-old baby, the thing that inconvenienced us very much. Then, I approached the reception and informed the guys there of the problem. But unfortunately, they did not show any of intention of solving this problem immediately. And when I intended to phone Travelrepublic Company to complain about this problem, the staff felt threatened and therefore started moving things. In the end, and about an hour later, we had the beds in our rooms."
Top Tip:
"The service was rather ungood. Besides, it was idle and incomplete."

"ignore all negative reviews!!! the hotel is lovely, spotlessly clean and helpful friendly staff. Yes there was a virus going around which had nothing to do with the hotel or the food. . All the food was good especially the chinese and seafood restaurants my only complaint was the swimming pool was freezing! . Dont go if you want shops and nightlife - there is a small selection of what i call Tat shops next door by the hilton, which also has a nightclub and a great casino. Dont waste your time in the movenpick casino. If you want a chill out holiday with excellent standard of accommodation then go to the movenpick."

"Ideal hotel for sightseeing in Petra/Jerusalem and great to nip to eilat for the day."

"Beautiful hotel and complex. We upgraded to a bungalow and it was well worth it - absolutely massive and spotless with a sea view. Only gripe was that we went all inclusive and both got upset stomachs. Also was not as good for snorkling as Sharm El Sheik"

The Movenpick resort Taba is just a few minutes away from the border to Israel and the ancient gateway to Jordon and the kingdom of Saudi Arabia. An ideal choice for couples and families looking for a relaxing holiday combined with a wide choice of onsite facilities.
