"hotel and pool was good but the room we had the curtains were hanging half off and the windows were dirty didnt complain as it was only 3 night stay had it been longer then we would not have been happy;and i would have wanted a better room ;or moved"

"I could not fault the hotel at all. Only problem was it was on a main road and to walk into Pefkos it was quite scary as there were no pavements. I would say for a 2 star it was above average. Very clean but basic as you would expect. This was 14th visit to Rhodes and hope to go back again next year."
Top Tip:
"Although I went to stay in Pefkos most evenings we would go into Lardos which is only 6 euros in a taxi. There is a great restaurant called Roulas and a very friendly bar called Memories."

"We found the apts to be in a great location! We loved the pool & it was even better because it was right on the beach. The beach was very quiet but absolutely gorgeous! The apartment itself was slightly dissapointing, but most Greek apts are very basic. It was clean enough & had everything you need. The breakfast was served by Michealas in the morning, he was very helpful, but rather quiet. Overall it was a lovely stay."
Top Tip:
"It was a 5 minute walk into Pefkos which has got a great selection of shops & restaurants."

"This is the first time I have booked a holiday on the internet and I have to admit I was a bit nervous wondering if everything would be alright. I needn't have worried as the taxi was waiting for us at the airport, although the drive to the hotel was something else (typical greek taxi driver). The hotel owner was waiting up for us even though is was about 2.30 in the morning. On our return our taxi turned up to pick us up quarter of an hour early which was okay by us, and the drive was a lot better, a much better driver!! The hotel pool was absolutely beautiful with a lovely view of the sea. The food at the Palm Bay was lovely although the restaurant lacked atmosphere.
On the negative side, I did ask for a sea view (which we didn't get), only the back wall of the supermarket, and I also asked for a first floor room and we got a ground floor room, however it didn't spoil our holiday as we love Pefkos and can't get enough of it. I was disappointed with the four TV's which were located in the bar of the Palm Bar Hotel, which had football on most of the time.
All in all we had a lovely holiday and would use Travel Republic again."
Top Tip:
"The Corelli Restaurant next door was absolutely fantastic, lovely atmosphere and although there was only the one TV the sound was down and greek music was played. There is also a beach just up from Palm Bay although I forget the name of it, it was lovely and not as far to walk as Pefkos Beach which is beautiful."

Hotel Details - Palm Bay Hotel

The family run PALM BAY HOTEL STUDIOS is a great base to spend a relaxing holiday, suitable for couples and families. The hotel is located in the resort of Pefkos on the island of Rhodes, Greece, 4 kms from the historical, beautiful village of Lindos. Pefkos is the Greek translation for Pine trees, which sets the scene for this most beautiful idyllic Greek resort. The beach is situated 100 meters from the hotel.
