"The hotel is a good place just to sleep and get ready to go out, if youre expecting great things from your hotel room i would not recommend it!"

"The hotel was extremely basic. The checking in/out process was far from smooth and we had to change rooms as we and our friends were allocated rooms in completely separate blocks despite booking as a group! The beds were so uncomfortable we woke up with backache each morning (and we're youngsters!) If you're looking for simply an affordable and convenient hotel then the Savvas is fine but do not expect anything other than a base to sleep, shower (in cold water!) and leave your belongings! The cleaner seemed to think that throwing all of our things into a pile in the corner of the room is helpful...nothing was ever where we left it, and with three of us sharing a room it was awfully confusing at times! She only gave us new towels every other day, which consisted of 2 hand towels and one larger towel....umm, between 3 of us for 2 days!?!
Other than the room itself, the hotel is wonderfully located if its the nightlife you want-of course that's want you want! You literally step outside and you're at one end of the main strip and throughout the night you simply make your way down the strip stopping at all the clubs on the way! I would recommend this hotel for groups of girls like us, as the walk home after a long night out is only short and therefore a lot safer. It just means that the walk to the beach is slightly longer, and by longer i mean around 15mins, which is perfectly acceptable.
The hotel does have it's own pool and poolside bar, which has friendly staff and holds good pre-strip entertainment such as karaoke and bbq. The pool was clean and provides a great social environment, plus it has it's own slide and free sunbeds!"

"Rooms were basic and clean. Maid service was good. Everyone was friendly"

"VERY NICE STAFF A BIT BASIC BUT IT WAS VERY GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY A FEW THINGS NEEDED FIXING IN THE ROOM BUT WERE DONE PROMPLY .SO I CANT COMPLAIN.IT WAS A VERY PLEASANT STAY.CLEAN BED LINEN & TOWELS AND A NICE WELCOME."

"This accomodation was horrible! The rooms were not ready when we arrived, we had to wait an hour before being handed the keys and when we walked to the apartments the cleaners had only just started.
The main hotel reception was unmanned for ages and it was unclear as to where we needed to check in and when finding out we had booked through the internet became very unhelpful.
The apartments were not cleaned to a good standard and only cleaned twice while we were there. For a self catering apartment it was completely unacceptable with the dirty and dark environment provided.
Noise was constantly herd at night as the doors did not seal properly and sleep was a huge problem. The nights also were cold due to the time of year and all that was on offer was a thin sheet.
A fantastic flight and lovely country and resort but let down by a sub standard and completely unacceptable apartment.
We ended up booking into another hotel for our final two nights as we were tired and unable to relax in these apartments."

"room was large and clean but basic. The noise from the menagerie kept by the hotel was not welcome first thing in the morning especially after a late night before"

"We arrived at the hotel not knowing where the reception was, ended up having to go to the pool bar where we were told that the person dealing with bookings wasn't in. We got a key to a room where someone was already staying then got the key to our room. The room was basic, the bathroom was probably the worst part of it, it was like a wet room. There was only hot water at certain times of the day, and it was never the same time of day each day. The rooms were cleaned every other day, although the room was mopped with a dirty mop (the room smelt after), the beds were changed every 4 days but clean towels were given every visit by the cleaner. The kitchen was basic, but utensils were provided, a plug in cooker type thing with 1 large ring and 1 small (the size of a cup) was provided. We were told by Travel Republic that we woulcn't change the dates of our holiday (by one day) because they didn't have any room, but as we were leaving the hotel was hardly full. The pool bar serves good food, the drinks are ok, but I'm not sure what they put in the 'Bacardi and Coke' because it didn't taste good. The pool has loungers, and a small swimming pool which has a slide attached to it. There were themed nights, which were mostly empty. The hotel itself is located in quite a good place, it's about a mile walk to the beach, (maybe less), but it's easy enough to do, it's on the main 'strip'as they call it. If you want to rent a car/motorbike/quad the petrol station is next to the hotel on the main road. The hotel itself has apartments that go back behind the main road, so it isn't awfully loud. There was one night when Greek music was played REALLY loud until about 6am. This hotel is mainly 18-30, so if you don't want to be woken up at all hours by people getting in from a drunken night out, it's probably not a good hotel. However, if you find some people are being too noisy, you can complain to reception and they threaten to kick out the offenders. Overall, it was an ok holiday."

"On arriving music was blasting from the bar area, not realising the Apartments we had booked where actually 18-30.
On no occasion was I told of this in any of my booking arrangments. I am not in that age bracket by far.
I am not a stick in the mud and I enjoy a good time, but night after night was spent getting up and asking young kids to be quiet, this went on till approx 7am most mornings, and getting verbal abuse in the process.
Apartments where very clean and looked after, the pool was also very clean, and all the shops, bars and restaurants are close by."

"our holiday was fantastic really enjoyed it. although the accomodation was basic (more like room only, facilities were VERY basic) and didn't really have any good views from it unless you were over looking the pool. wouldnt suggest a family go there but for the money was good, good location was near enough to night life but far enough form the noise, although was a bit of a walk down to the beach which didnt seem very popular. hotel had alot of young people on group holidays any where form 18-35 there were some older people there too. food in the hotel is nice and good value for money."

"Amazing holiday!
Fantastic hotel, all the staff are great.
Make sure you try the BBQ night great fun.
Wish we were still there... missing it already"
