"This is our second time to this hotel. We love the location and the friendly atmostphere. The restaurant serves great food at a resonable price. The cocktail bar has a relaxed feel about it and serves drinks until you cant drink anymore.
The swimming pool is very clean and has a snack bar which serves food all day long. Breakfast is included but is basic, bread roll and jam, but you can get anything from eggs and toast to english breakfast , you just have to ask and pay a few euros extra, nothing is too much trouble for the owners."
Top Tip:
"The local beach is very near and it is nice, but we stayed around the pool, as it had everything we needed close to us, ie toilets, food and drinks. The bonus for us was the owners sons, Good looking greek guys, especially the bar man who made me very welcome. I had the best time of my life and im sure i will return year after year for this reason"

"This is our third time now to this particular hotel and have never been disappointed. Great hospitality,nothing is too much trouble and rooms are cleaned every day. You are always welcomed."
Top Tip:
"Swimming pool, restaurant, cocktail bar(which is great for relaxing in the evenings), beach in short walking distance and local supermarket."

"THE HOTEL WAS CLEAN AND TIDY. THE FAMILY WHO OWN THE HOTEL WERE FRIENDLY AND WILLING TO HELP WITH ANY NEEDS. ITS NEAR TO THE BEACH AND 5 EUROS TOOK YOU IN TO LARDOS, OR YOU CAN WALK FOR 20 MINUTES. IM GOING BACK NEXT YEAR AS ITS GOOD PRICE FOR ALL I NEED FOR A HOLIDAY."

"LARDOS VILLAGE IS CLOSE WITH GREAT BARS MEMORIES AND YAMAS, RESTURANTS GOOD ESPICALLY DELIGHT AND VALENTINOS , AND FOR THE LATE NIGHT EATERS SAVVAS FOR BEST GIROS IN RHODES."

"This was only a 2* hotel and as such the proprietors were very hospitable and the room facilities were adequate. The (open) hotel restaurant was situated near the guest bedrooms and on occasions nights were noisy beyond 1.00am. I had indicated on my original booking that I had a disability and that a room that didn't involve stairs etc would be preferred. This was not taken account of. Many of the guests there at the same time as us returned year after year."
Top Tip:
"We only swam on local beaches. I contracted some liver infection probably from the sea, on return. Medical investigations are underway. 1 and 1/2 miles from Lardos Beach in Lardos village is a wonderful restaurant called Roula's. Very popular and always good food."

Sunshine is a well-maintained family-run hotel that offers a homely and friendly atmosphere. It is located in the main coastal road between Lardos and Pefkos. The Sunshine Hotel will appeal most to those looking for peaceful and relaxing holidays. The location of these clean basic studios is ideal to explore the surrounding villages of Lindos, Pefkos and Lardos, and an ideal base to begin touring the island.

Rooms have, telephone, air conditioning (subject to availability, payable locally), shower room or bath and shower, balcony or terrace. The hotel provides late checkout facilities until 7pm (subject to availability, local charge).
