"We stayed at Parque Tropical Apartmentments for 12 nights and have to say that the apartments were very clean and maid service was available 5 times a week. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them."

"Although this hotel is promoted as 4 Star it is really a 2 Star that has recently been refurbished. How can you get 4 Stars if you have no restaurant (shut for some time), gym, tennis, etc. We stayed the previous week in Playa Blanca at a 3 Star Hotel which had a piano bar, gym, jacuzzi, crazy golf, tennis!! On the positive side the rooms are nice and have microwave, fridge freezer, toaster, kettle, iron, etc. It has a great central position if you are looking for an action-packed holiday but is quiet and peaceful throughout the day. The pools are nice but the sunbathing areas can get a bit cramped. One word of warning is that we asked if they had another room as we had no view from our apartment and didn't even unpack. We got another room but at a cost of 15 Euros!! WHY?
I would rate Parque Tropical as 3 Star."Top Tip:

"All was good, only downside that you had to pay for TV and when we did the channels were very limited and not as advertised."

"very clean and tidy we had 3 rooms and they were all very nice rooms there is a little hill down to the main steet and beach you a in the centre off all restaurant and bars, there is a lot of steps for older people"

"Apartments basic but clean and tidy. bit noisy if staying in apartments road facing, from the fall out from pubs late on,poolside lower ground was fine.Friendly staff,pool bar good,hotel/apartments close to all amenities. Lovely salt water pools, no chemicals used.Would stay there again."

"just returned from parque tropical apartments after a brilliant holiday. Living area and bedroom very clean and tidy but bathroom showing a few signs of wear and tear. Pool area was very nice but, as seen on previous reviews, sunbeds in short supply. Having said that we got one every day we needed one, thanks to my partner running down with towels by 8 o'clock. If you cant beat them............
Only a short walk to all shops, bars, restaurants and beach. Supermarket across the road (netto).
Plenty of excursions can be booked through hotel. This was our 10th visit to lanzarote and yet again had great time. Never been back to same accomodation twice but would definately consider returning to parque tropical. very impressed"Top Tip:

"Clean and tidy rooms, staff helpfull when needed even though the fan in the lounge didnt work even after they repaired it."

"Clean, tidy and well presented apartments. Maid service 5 times a week, food and drink available from the pool bar from 10am to 5pm (7pm in high season), clean and inviting pool, helpful reception. Perfectly situated and well managed. Restaurant was not open but this didn’t bother us."

"It’s all a bit expensive with the current exchange rates so take advantage of happy hours and free entertainment. Apartment Details - Parque Tropical Apartments
Parque Tropical is a small hotel complex of 80 apartments in the heart of Puerto Del Carmen. It is used mainly by couples and families, who want to be in the centre of things but at the same time, would like to relax in the calm atmosphere of this friendly and clean hotel complex. The complex was totally refurbished in May 2007
Accommodation
All of the apartments have either a garden, pool or sea view from terrace or balcony. Each apartment has one double bedroom with two single beds, bathroom and kitchen/diner. The kitchen is fully furnished and equipped with a two ring electric hob, fridge, microwave, and toaster, a filter coffee machine and an electronic juicer. Every apartment also has cable television and a telephone, a clock/radio in the bedroom and a safe. There are multi-speed ceiling fans in the lounge and bedroom.
Food & Beverage
Parque Tropical has a restaurant offering an a la carte international cuisine and a range of snacks and pizzas. The Pool Bar has a full range of hot and cold drinks and a wide variety of food, there is also a Barbecue, Paella and Music evenings at the Pool Bar.
Sports & Leisure
There are two Eco Friendly swim
