"It is a bit disappointing to have to pay extra for air conditioning at 5 euros per day. This should be included as standard. "

"Local beach very pebbly but nice, need flip flops. Food on beach at Tassos's Place v good. Food in town at Classico and Romeo's v good."

"We had an unpleasant experience on the final day of our holiday, after returning to the hotel from our day outing to be told that our belongings had been taken out of our room and put into storage at basement level to allow another family to take occupancy of our room. This was a room which we had booked for eight nights with a departure date of 17-08-08 and we are talking about the evening of the 16-08-08. We were then transferred to another building and had to carry our luggage up the stairs to the second floor where we were accommodated in an apartment for two people. After managing to convince the owner of the apartment that we had booked the room for eight nights and not seven and requesting a refund for the loss of a night; after lloking into the matter the owner was very apologetic and stated it was a mix up/oversight between themselves and med.com. Whilst I accepted the owners apology, I will be taking up the matter with med.com because the whole incident had tarnished what up until then had been quite a pleasant stay for us at the apartment."

"Local beach was within ten minutes walking distance of hotel"

"Hotel rooms were basic but clean, other public areas were pleasant with a nice bar area. Hotel was in a nice peaceful location but not too far from beach and village centre. There is noise from aircraft but this really isn't a problem. "
Top Tip:
"There are some very nice restaurants in town including Zorba's, Romeos and Maria's (at back of the church). Rhodes old town is worth a visit, but try to get there early, as gets hot and busy! Have a drink in Thomas's bar (not to be confused with Tommies bar over the road! Great if you like bingo!) Thomas is a lovely man with very good english. Also, beach was never overcrowded and with a constant and much needed breeze."

"What a super little Hotel, this is the 4th time I have booked different accomodations with Travel Republic and all have been excellent they really do have some lovely hand picked properties we have never been dissapionted with our choices. This is a cracking little gem of a hotel, We had a 1 bed apt at front of hotel with 2 huge balconies, the rooms were spacious very clean with your basic requirements, fridge air con ( extra ) smallish bathroom & shower excellent for the price we paid. The hotel has a small pool but if you like to have a good swim just 3 minutes left of hotel is Hotel Margaret all are welcome and they have a big pool, this hotel is also featured by Travel Republic. The family who run Anseli are delightful and cant do enough for you, The food is delicious all home made. We ate there many times. The area where the hotel is situated is an oasis of calm and tranquility, I have read reviews about planre noise but it didnt bother us as we love planes. All in all alovely hotel. I liked it so much that I am returning in 6 weeks time for a short break with a girlfriend of mine we are going wed early am to sunday late evening. Once again thank you T.P. for sourcing such a lovely hotel would reccomend to all my friends and family. P.S. Greek plate in hotel excellent for 6 euros just like a meze on large plate some a wonderful combination of greek delicacies Yummmy"

"Nearest Supermarket turn left immediatly outside hotel shop is next to Margaret hotel 3 mins walk. 6 pack lge water 2.4 euros, lovely fresh bread ( Get there early ) open from 7 - 9pm 7 days a week also english cigarettes in cartons or by the packet ( Cigarettes are fixed price so dont bother to go to town to get them. Excellent barbaque chicken behind Church square. Kremasti village lovely nice shops lots of restaurants. Local people extremely friendly and genuine. "

"we arrived to a very warm welcome from the bar man whos showed us to our room as it was 02.00 in the morning the room was really clean tidied and well stocked the receptionists were wonderful and helped with anything we needed the brochure told that they were aircraft noise this didnt effect us one bit it was nice to see the planes so close from our room balcony the hotel food was excellent so was the pool we found our holiday the best one weve had so far after losing our son back in june and this holiday was a godsend we didnt want for nothing we will be goin back to the anselli because of such friendly owners to bar staff (yr welcome to ours anytime akiss) to cleaners "

"the beach from the hotel was excellent clean bit stoney but water very clear and no stones showers on beach were excellent to we went to the music bar by the water part in kremasti the waiter think it was the owner dressed up in an outfit where you come from the scottish one he did was halerious just to serve you we had fillet steak it was to die for and the gyros was lovely and the garlic bread is a must "

"This is the fourth time we have stayed at this hotel and we have enjoyed it every time.Lula & Tassos are both very friendly and helpful.The barman Akis is excellent at his job and quite entertaining.The food in the hotel is excellent and not expensive.If you are looking for a relaxing holiday then this is the place to go."

"Not far from the hotel is a restaurant called the Pelekanos which serves excellent food.On the way to the beach is the Village Inn where linda@ Spiros make you very welcome.On the beach is Tassos Place which is also very friendly."

The Anseli Apartments are fairly spacious, comfortable and well-maintained. It is perfect for those seeking a relaxing holiday in a typically Greek atmosphere. Located in the largest village on the island, within easy distance of the beach and the centre with its bars, restaurants and taverns. This hotel will suit clients of all ages wanting a traditional setting.

Accommodation

Studios have twin beds or double bed, with a sofa bed, while one-bedroom apartments have four single beds and a sofa bed. All rooms have air conditioning (payable locally), kitchenette with two cooking rings, fridge and kettle, telephone, shower room and balcony. Prices are based on Self Catering. Late checkout facility subject to availability (payable locally).

Food & Beverage

The complex has a bar and snack bar. The snack bar serves breakfast, a variety of snacks and meals between 07.30 and 21.00.
