"Hotel very Clean, Reception and Food Hall Fresh. Food Very Good, Room well furnished and good bathroom facilities. While the Hotel was Clean and Fresh, room we had did smell of strong smoke, other than that no complaints. Even though it was Oct half term and a lot of the Hotels in the resort were closed down, this one still had entertainment put on for guests."

"Returned today from this hotel. We chose Santa Susana having stayed in Lloret de Mar earlier in the year. We liked the area, but were keen to avoid the Htop hotels as we stayed in one in Lloret and it was terrible, no where near 4 star.

This hotel, however, is worthy of the 4 star rating, how 2 hotels in the same area can get the same rating was beyond us. The hotel has a smoking ban, which was great for us. Check in was swift and efficient and we went off to our room. This had 2 double beds and was of an average size. There was a full bathroom with shampoo, bath creme, soap, comb, shower cap and tissues. It was spotlessly clean. The room was cleaned daily and this was always to a high standard.

We stayed full board. Breakfast was as expected, cereals, cold meats etc, fruit (this did not exist in our Htop earlier in the year be warned) full cooked, juice, tea coffee etc.

Lunch was a buffet, as was dinner. The selection was varied from curry to roast, fish, various casserole type dishes. For starters there were soups and salads. Desserts saw a variety of cold choices, fruit, cakes and home baked biscuits. Drinks were extra. The service was efficient while we were there. The prices were 5.15 euros for 50cl house wine or 8.75 for a bottle of house wine. Water was 1.70 euros and coke 2 euros.

The location of the hotel was good. It was right on the promenade and very close to the train station. There was a small indoor pool which we used, but in my opinion , at 6 euros was quite pricey for a small pool which was very crowded. there were several teenagers not behaving as they should have been which spoilt it for other users. Not the hotels fault, but parents who seemed absent from sight. We have teenagers so are not unrealistic.

The hotel also charges 4 euros per day to use the car park. This is opposite the hotel and although it has a barrier I am not sure that is was any better patrolled than any other car park there! You could park in the adjacent area whcih we did, free.

All in all we had a good break here. we would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to friends. we travel abroad about 4 times per year so are fairly experienced in the standard to expect from hotels. This one was as we expected."

"We have been to many hotels in tourist Spain and without hesitation we would say that this has been one of the best. Certainly extremely good value for money. Our room had two double beds and was very clean and well appointed, We visited in October when the weather was very good which means that the sea was still warm enough to swim in but the sun was not burning hot. The staff were always pleasant and very helpful. The breakfast and evening buffet had enormous variety and I defy anybody not to find something to their liking. The evening entertainment seemed to enjoyed by everyone and there was ample sitting areas, if you would rather just relax and read and be served drinks from their well stocked bar. There was a games room,gym, indoor pool,and bike hire was available. The resort at this time of year is a little quiet but there was evidence that an extensive fairground had once been in residence,and every evening a lot of stalls selling various items of jewellery,drinks,food,paintings,some goodl, some tatty were set up along the promenade. The area is a little soulless but if you want a very good hotel with excellent communications(the railway is only across the road and Barcelona only costs 3euros 20 for an hour's trip),very handy for the excellent beach, and if you have a car the N11 and the autovias are not far away,once again I would whole heartedly recommend this hotel."

"The hotel room was spacious and clean, but could have done with another comfy chair.
The food was well prepared and presented.
In the evenings the waiter service could be slow.
Although the beach was nearby, the sand was rather coarse.
The train station is virtually opposite the hotel."

"Very good food selection & Quality. The food was also hot.

"Meals edible but to repetative and tastless. Sunbeds uncomfy and broken. Parasols not mobile. Loud music played whenever the animation team were working.Incorrect info given many times. I would rate this only a 3 star.
Most staff very friendly especially the animation team. Hotel, bedrooms and pool very clean."

"Fantastic hotel, very clean with comfortable rooms. Can hire the minibar as a fridge for 2 euros a day which is very handy. Unlike in other hotels we've stayed in, we didn't hear any noise from the corridors or other rooms as the soundproofing was very good! One night there was a great rock band, but the other entertainment wasn't to our taste! Children's entertainment looked good fun, but we got fed up with hearing the 'hey cheeky, cheeky' song!!! Not the most friendly staff, but not rude, just indifferent. Pools looked lovely, although we didn't use them - good idea to charge 1 euro a day for a sunbed which made them available to all. Food was very good, plenty of choice and not too much queuing....however the food wastage was a little irritating - people filling their plates with huge amounts of food and then leaving half of it! Very few British guests, mostly Spanish, French, Italian and eastern European. Overall a hotel we would thoroughly recommend."

"Travelled with 9 & 11 year old children and 58 year old mother. Exceptionally clean hotel. Good size well furnished bedrooms. Varied food buffet of excellent quality.
Entertainment staff are of high standard and there is a good programme for children throughout the day.
All staff were helpful and polite.
Would recommend and would certainly return."

"checkin was bad arrived at hotel at 11'00am was told to go back at 1,00pm room not ready 2.30 still waiting in panio room for keys husband complained keys at 2.45 good room inside but view ws bad over looking seating area of pool corner room music from disco at afternoon very bad....window in bedroom and bathroom no view plants outside overgrow..no light at night on pattio.....ask for late checkout told no/ had to get out of the room at 10.00 taxi was not till 4'00pm nice clean hotel but full of germans...seeing that it was my 50th birthday we did not stay in hotel at all for the hoilday.......complementary bottle of wine would'nt have gone a miss .....wont go there again ...."
