"Hotel was in a great location, quite yet near centre of town. Rooms basic but clean, nice views over the sea to Greece. good choice at breakfast. Would use this hotel again."

"Very good value. So close to the sea and with superb views from all the rooms. No lift so you will get lots of exercise if you are on the 8th floor as I was. The upper rooms are probably best suited to shorter people due to the sloping rooves under the eaves. A bit of a wiff of stale water coming from the shower in one of the rooms but this was no reflection of the overall cleanliness which was excellent."
Top Tip:
"Just a 10 minutes walk east from the hotel is the loveliest pebble beach. Take a mask and snorkel as there are lots of fish to sea. The area is very good for wildlife too, just sat on the beach I saw kingfishers, nuthatches, jays ...
My favourite restaurants in twon are Bahce (the best meze) and Iqbal."

"stayed for two nights and thoughrly enjoyed our stay.
Only complaint was the number of stairs to get to our room on the top floor.(110) not for the faint hearted!
Excellent views across the bay,B&B is the best deal as there are very good resturants in the town."

"The hotel was perfectly situated for a relaxing holiday at the end of a quiet lane with very little through traffic. The town was a 5 minute stroll away with a good choice in restaurents and a few quiet bars.

Breakfast was typical buffet style in a dining room over looking the sea.Standard was reasonable.

Lots of stairs, so limited suitability for people with walking difficulties.

Great big sofas overlooking the sea to snooze on and large umbrellas for shade if required.........Lovely!"
Top Tip:
"Lots of archaeology and history to see clearly marked with brown road signs if you have a car."

"This hotel is not suitable for anyone with mobility problems as there is no lift and rooms are on 4 floors. The rooms facing the front of the hotel have a lovely view of the sea.
Beware of wasps around the breakfast buffet. They were a nuisance.
Don't expect an English breakfast but there is still a choice of edibles.
The area of KAS is lovely with many restaurants within walking distance. There is a shuttle bus each day from the hotel to the Aquarius which has plenty of sun beds all facing the sea. The swimming there was fantastic.
The main problem with KAS is the distance from Dalaman airport, the journey took about 3 hours."

"The beach at the Aquarious was lovely."

"We had the most fantastic stay in the Aqua Princess in Kas. It was a small, friendly hotel, quiet with amazing sea views. The food was excellent and the rooms more than adequate."

"Great restaurant - The Sultan's Garden, about a 2 minute walk from the Aqua Princess towards the centre of Kas."

"V. good indeed (apart from cleaning of the room/bathroom which could have been a bit better). Stunning views - including of Meis Island from our room!

Note - There are a lot of steps in the hotel and no lift. If children are not toddlers, it's fine for families too."
Top Tip:
"Akdenis restaurant is excellent. Wide range of Turkish food. Akdenis also has a nightclub upstairs which plays Turkish music/live saz and guitar.
There is also Mercar fish restaurant -where you can choose your own fish. It's v.good but the portions are smaller/few extras/more expensive; and Cinarlar restaurant for a pizza/pide/snack.

The Kas coastline is great but Kas is of course rocky. For a good sandy beach go to patara -the second longest beach in Europe (18 km). You can get a bus or (as we did) barter with a taxi driver who will wait there for 4 - 5 hours and bring you back. it takes 45 mins in a cab and a return cab fare is about £30 if you barter (70 yTL).
The saklikent gorge is also well worth a (jeep) trip -take shorts and firm shoes for climbing a water filled gorge. This trip also includes visits to amphitheatres.

"very good accomodation at this price. rather a lot of stairs to negotiate, but worth it for the wonderful view from the balcony."
Top Tip:
"Buyuk Cakil Plaji is well worth the walk (about 15 minutes). Just follow the road away from Kas. No sand but a beautiful spot with lots of fish, birds etc - an idyllic spot."

"An attractive hotel in an excellent position on the seafront at the far end of Kas but within easy walking distance of the centre. Good facilities, swimming pool, bar, lounge, terrace and restaurant. The terrace and restaurant had wonderful views across the sea to the island of Meis and towards the harbour. All the rooms have a balcony and some sort of seaview, some have the most amazing panoramic view. Most seem fairly well equipped with A/C and TV and a small bathroom (my friend's single room in the attic had no A/C and no window).
The restaurant offered a good choice at breakfast and evening meals and the hardworking staff were very friendly, coupled with the lovely views it made mealtimes a very pleasant experience. Over the road there is access to the sea from rock platforms equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas and also Turkish style cushioned seats. Here, at the top of the cliff, there is a lovely beach bar again with superb views, a good place to catch the breeze and relax. Shuttle service to sister hotel Aquarius on the peninsula with use of their facilities.
One major problem for some people would be the number of steps in this hotel. Just to reach the public areas from the road would be difficult for anyone with any sort of mobility problem, there is then another flight to the terrace before entering the accommodation block, in total well over a hundred to some rooms!
I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone without mobility problems."
Top Tip:
"Try the municipal tea gardens just behind the cafes at the harbour, a lovely shady place for a glass of cay and to people watch."
