"The hotel room was not as expected as i and other guest were lead to believe we would have some self catering items, only had a fridge, whist the room was clean, did not feel it was necessary for the cleaner to call every day in fact this at one point felt intrusive. The "receptionsist" english was severly limited and whenever a question was posed was told would have to wait for "spiros". the local resturants were limitd and the area was very isolated. The only saving grace was the Coffee House, excellent coffee, food and company."

"Our room overlooked the pool & was clean & nicely furnished. Bathroom/shower was better than usual although it was difficult to keep the shower water from spilling onto the bathroom floor as the curtain was a bit short.
Rest of hotel was in good order, breakfast was fine if a little repetitive. Only disappointment was the evening bar snacks -only tried the once but there are several good restaurants very close by. Madam behind the front desk was efficient & helpful & clearly ran the place with a rod of iron - nice if she could smile once in a while !
About 5 mins walk from the nearest beach."

"me and my girlfriend stayed at the arion between 4th and 11th September 2008 and both really ejoyed it. We saw couples of all ages there and a couple of families and everyone seemed to be having a nice time. The staff were really helpful and friendly and we would definately go there again. It was great value for money and the hotel was very clean and everything was in working order. We had no problems there during our stay."

"Friendly and helpful staff, clean room with towels changed every other day and sheets three times a week. Clean pool with sunbeds always available."

"for a 3 star hotel in greece i thought this was excellent; very clean, the rooms were spotless everyday, sheets and towels changed every other day. i was bed and breakfast, but also had a fridge and couple of cooking rings, a sink, plates and cutlery, saucepans etc - everything needed for basic self catering. no shower curtain but the floor had a very well sited drain which meant the bathroom was dry within minutes. always had hot water. the room was very spacious, lovely high vaulted ceiling, and views from the balconies were gorgeous; sunrise in the morning to the back, sunset in the evening to the front. nice pool, well maintained and cleaned, plenty of sunloungers. very friendly staff, nothing too much trouble but not "in your face". very friendly other guests, mostly german but all said hello, at least. location was great, five minutes scenic stroll to the beaches and couple minutes the other way to the main street which had a handful of tavernas and "supermarkets" all very friendly. real "old style" greece; walking past houses everyone gave a wave and "kalimera". the area is very very pretty, lots of gorgeous gardens and plants; chickens in a lemon grove on the way to the beach! some noise from the local cow and goats, and a few barking dogs; but other than that just birdsong. very very relaxing, will definitely be returning and would recommend to anyone - so long as they not looking for laganas style chips and beer !"

"friendly staff. lovely looking hotel at night when lit up. nice pool. only 2 negatives were we were unable to have a double room as requested and the breakfast selection was geared away from us brits unless you liked cold omelette"

"The room was very basic, but clean and the hotel represented good value at its price. The 'Health centre' is in fact just a jacuzzi, there is no gym etc. The family who run it are very accomodating and friendly."

"Very nice hotel. Very clean. All tiles and marble with very comfortable sofas in the lobby. Friendly staff. Linen changed regularly. Pool bar supplied everything you could need. Pool area well maintained and clean.
Only 2 drawbacks:
Some of the rooms on the ground floor around the pool might have a pool view but only if you cut down the bushes. I was in room 101 and didn't get any sunlight *at all* into my room or balcony due to the large bush/tree outside - also that particular room can be looked into from the bar through the large window (so little to no privacy)."

"We wanted a quiet , low key honeymoon and that is exactly what we achieved. The room had a double bed as requested. We had a nice view across the pool and onto the mountains. The breakfast was fairly basic and repetitive but met our requirements. There were a few local tavernas and small supermarkets all within walking distance. The beach was clean with plenty of sunbeds available for a charge. We found this small hotel's staff helpful and personable. It will always be 'our special place' and will definately be considering a return visit in future years."

"The only downsides to our stay at the Arion Renaissance were, our rooms, although on the upper floor at our request, had no cover over the balcony hence when it rained we had to sit in the rooms, alternatively when the sun was at its highest and for the majority of the afternoon the only shade available was in your room once again. The main entrance steps are marble and had no hand rail to hold onto, we were unlucky enough to have some torrential downpours of rain during our stay the steps were lethal and twice had very lucky escapes from serious injury, the steps became so slippery could hardly stand up on them and no rail??? So dangerous."

"the staff were very helpful, friendly, the hotel was small but very clean,
the breakfast was very basic"

"Very clean hotel, good sized bedrooms. Friendly and helpful staff."

"We wanted a quiet relaxing Holiday. The Resort was perfect. The Hotel was A+ It was a great surprise to find a Hotel and resort that 'ticked all the boxes'! We will definately be returning next year."
