"Breakfast very poor quality. First room allocated was on main road and so noisy no sleep possible. Had to stay there for a week then moved to sea view which was pleasant and quiet.
The location of hotel is excellent but the welcome is poor very much take it or leave it which spoiled the experience for most guests."Top Tip:

"The hotel staff could not have been any more helpful and the room was cleaned every day. We were changed to a room with a sea view after a few days on request and it just made out holiday, excellent view!"
Top Tip:
"Elounda beach is great, Poulis restaurant next to the hotel has amazing food and the Canal Bar over the causeway does great food too. Cocktails at Bar 74 are ace!!"Aristea Hotel check-in Date:

"Hotel and staff were fantastic. Rooms to the front of the hotel are particularly noisy but the standard of cleanliness and comfort more than made up for it."
Top Tip:

"We were very disappointed at the picture that appeared on the advert showed a swimming pool and there was NO POOL at the hotel. The staff at the hotel were very pleasant. We were very disappointed with the very basic breakfast. Someone in the room next door had their television on until 4am but we told the staff and they ask them to to keep it quiet and after that it was fine. The staff were apologetic about it. Rooms on the front got a lot of traffic noise especially the motor bikes."

"staff were friendly and the hotel was central for the town.
Unfortunately the room was very small with no provision for Tea/coffee although a small fridge was available to store water.The balcony was tiny(less than 10 inches) and in my opinion was unsafe considering we had a young child with us.
The shower was slow and rarely had hot or even warm water available and no matter what we did the bathroom resembles a paddling pool(it was too small to come close to a swimming pool) after a shower.
Breakfast was included but consisted of cornflakes(no other choice of cereal) and bread and cheese.Tea/coffe and juics were available though they often ran out and we had to ask frquently for clean plates,cutlery and cups/glasses.
we ended up finding an appartment urselves and moving there after a week."Top Tip:
"The Eden bar in the town was fantastic, great quality food and good prices and the brother and sister who run the bar were lovely and would always go out of their way to make sure you were welcome and provide anything you wanted even if it meant changing from their standard menu."Aristea Hotel check-in Date:

"We were not happy with the room we were allocated on the first night - it was on the main road and very noisy. However when we requested a change, this was done without question. The second room had no view to speak of, but it was clean, comfortable and quiet!"

"The hotel is very clean and linen was changed every two days. The rooms at the front are very noisy as they overlook the very busy road that leads into and out of Elounda. However, we were able to change to a room with a fantastic harbour/sea view within a couple of days, upon request. Reception staff are very helpful and polite. The hotel is excellent value for money."

"Elounda is an all-round fantastic place to stay, but the beach, Eden Bar/Cafe, Makris Restaurant and boat trips to the island of Spinalonga are the top'must do's'."Aristea Hotel check-in Date:
