"My friend and I have just returned from Atlantic Garden Resort Hotel,
We had a fabulous time, the pool area is lovely and really quiet, the bar staff and everyone were really friendly. 5mins by taxi (2.70 euros) into town. The meals at the bar were very reasonably priced and the spaghetti is to die for. The rooms were adequate, having all the essentials in the kitchen area, but at the end of the day we only showered and slept there so it was fine for us.
Its a little quiet if you have children/young adults, there were a couple of young families but in all I think it probably suites couples wanting a relaxing holiday away from it all.
Although at half terms it probably would be OK for families.
All in all a great time. Brilliant......we are planning our next trip there already."

"I would recommend this accomodation if you want a good 'no frills' holiday. The apartment was basic but clean, comfortable and serviced regularly. The pool area was excellent and sheltered fromn the wind. On site restaurant was good (but unfortunately a little quiet while we were there) with friendly service. The closest beach is about 5 minutes walk away down a couple of quiet streets and the main town about 5 to 10 minutes away. There is a new shopping centre next door to the complex with some 'real' shops, a supermarket and a few restaurants with nightly (middle of the road/ spanish popular) entertainment. There are plenty of restaurants and entertainment to suit all tastes not far away in the main town."

"Found the apartment to be quite spacious, large balcony with table and chairs. Kitchen had everything you needed. A lot of the apartments seem to be private, and we did have some music coming from next door at three in the morning on a couple of occasions. Told reception about the problem, who said as it was a private apartment they would inform their manager, thankfully no problems after that."

"The accommodation was fine but has been taken over by a time share co. and is undergoing a total refurb. to a high standard. This was not a problem to us, everything was ok, but obviously, future visitors may find things very different. For us the pools are very good and a very decent restaurant on site. Great holiday!"

"We are a mid-50s couple and found the hotel very nice. The pool area was quiet and peaceful, though that may have been more because it was late October than anything else. We ate out every day so cannot comment on the food. The staff were friendly and helpful, although the booking-in process was somewhat disorganised. The room was clean and tidy when we arrived and was comfortable and well-stocked with self catering utilities."

"The compounds are generally all alike in correlejo. this is one of the better ones we have been to. the only problem is that they are running a time share sales operation inside the hotel grounds, they knock on your door, claiming to be the rep, and invite you to a "welcome breakfast", and then proceed to sell you time share! what a scam!! this should not happen inside the hotel."

"Fantastic location, friendly staff. The time of year we went meant it was quiet but the pool area was really nice and the location great. The beach was 5 minutes walk away and the bars/restaurants about 10 minutes walk. There is a new shopping centre directly next to the apartments which has been designed beautifully. Alot of the shops aren't yet occupied but it will be really nice when it's completed.

The only down side was the rooms were a little tired and could do with a lick of paint / furniture cleaning, but it was fine for us."

"Just returned from Corralejo had a really good time at the Altlantic Gardens. The rooms were pretty standard but did the job you have to hire a fan though because it was very warm. Pool area was great lots of sun lounges and not busy at all. Its about 15min walk into the town but plenty to see on the way!
Boat trip to Los lobos is good and only 18 euros you get dropped off on the island and you get a boat back later. take water and food though as nothing there except nice beaches. The beach is 10 mions walk from hotel and not very big best to get bus or hire a car and go to the sand dunes. Overall great time hotel staff were very helpfull."

"Pleasant, friendly reception and houskeeping bar staff seem to be as a punishment no banter or even a smile, totally lacking.

Good value for money and central (20) to the town and beach.

"Really nice location, just right for being quiet and also close enough to restaurants without being on top of it all.
Just be aware of the bells, you get used to them but they do ring on the hour with a little tune afterwards, until 10pm
Next time I would try and book an earlier return flight, as one apartment for everyone to have showers is not enough, we had to start queing just to have a shower before being picked up."

"Lots of Health & safety issues, uneven surfaces and rasied pavements and not that clean. Pool area not at all clean and pool not that good either, lots of floating objects. Maid service was poor although changed towels twice during stay and beds once (in ten days!!) apartment not swept or mopped and no facilities for us to do it ourselves i.e. mop and bucket or brush and pan!
No air conditioning or avialbility of fan.

Had to pay a deposit of 60 euros on arrival which were unaware of before start of holiday!!!

Loved the resort with plent5y of options for eating, we were self catering but would not return to Atlantic Gardens Apartments ever again."

"Absoloutely wonderful. People where friendly, room was very clean as was pool. Never had to fight for a lounger.
Resort was lovely as well with lots of different places to eat - only went back to certain ones more than once because we enjoyed them.

"We spent alot of time researching properties in Fuerteventura and were swayed by the Atlantic Garden Apartments based purely on the comments left by other travellers. Everyone had rated them 4-5 ticks, my expectations had been raised. I can't say I was disappointed because the weather, the location and the resort where great, but the accomodation wasn't anything like I was expecting. It was very basic but adequate and we were met with a stench in the bathroom which stayed with us throughout the holiday. The sheets and towels were nice and white and clean and I was impressed that these had been changed after 2 days, but things took a turn after that. After another 7 days we had to complain because the apartment hadn't been cleaned. A few days previous to this they'd fumigated to clear cochroaches (which incidently we didn't have any issues with but those on the ground floor did), however, this left stains all over the balcony and furniture which we had to double complain about to get it cleaned. On the first day I was concerned about the scum in the top pool and was concious that this could lead to infections. After that we chose to sit around by the lower pool which was much cleaner, however all pools needed maintenance, the mosaic tiling was crumbling and there were a number of tiles missing. In addition, although the patios were cleaned I can't begin to tell you how black my little boys feet would get when he wanted to play table tennis, the play area was filthy! It was obvious to us that the comments that had been left previously were in relation to the privately owned apartments where owners had spent alot of money on doing up, they were lovely. Quite clearly this is moving more towards privately owned properties with long term leases, but for those planning a package holiday, think again! You'll feel like a second rate citizen."

"The Atlantic Garden Resort Hotel was ideally situated for us. A five minute walk to the beach, to the water park and a ten minute walk to the main street. The resort was lacking in a variety of bars and restaurants as it only had the one. We ate out most nights so this did not concern us. The resort has recently changed owners and some big improvements have been planned to put on entertainment in the evenings. The apartment was big enough for me and my partner with all the kitchen appliances we needed. Being on the ground floor we did encounter some cockroaches but as long as you're not too squeamish they can be dealt with easily. This was my partner and mine first holiday away alone since going out in four years, it was also the place I asked her to marry me. We both will always have fond memories of this holiday. TravelRepublic sorted everything out for us - flights, accommodation and transfers. All of which were excellent quality and on time."
