  • "Since I last stayed here in 2002 this hotel has been completely upgraded and is now very nice (being very poor in 2002). We were very comfortable and the staff were very helpful. Breakfast was very good."

    "This hotel is near the old port in Heraklion and we only stayed there overnight on arrival from Santorini by ferry before proceeding to our own house on the island. It is handy for the port and is close to good restaurants and museums."

The Atrion Hotel, fully renovated in 2004, is a quiet corner in the heart of Heraklion only 3 min walk from the old Venetian port. This modern, minimal-style hotel is right next to Heraklions vibrant center, with its cafés, shopping center, tavernas and museums but also a short stride from the seashore. The islands main highways can be easily accessed from the hotel, making it an ideal base for discovering the island by car.

Accommodation

Atrions 56 light and airy rooms and 4 luxury suites are tastefully furnished and fully equipped with modern facilities: air-conditioning, private balcony, mini bar, electronic mini-safe, telephone and internet port, electronic security door lock system, smoke detector, satellite TV, radio TV and deluxe bathroom with hair-dryer and emergency telephone provided.

Food & Beverage

Atrions oval-domed 4 Seasons Restaurant facing the patio, serves American breakfast buffet and a variety of Greek and Cretan delicacies as well as International cuisine. Traditional menus and local dishes are served according to season. The meals are served at the following hours: Breakfast 07:30-10:00 (American buffet), Lunch 13:00-14:30, Dinner 19:00-22:00. The guests can also enjoy a spacious TV room overlooking the wooden-decked drinks patio.

Facilities & Services

The hosts are provided with 24-hour front desk and room service, luggage storage, News Stand, car - bike rental, doctor on call, florist on demand, laundry service, tour desk, wake-up service.

Meeting Facilities

Atrions new Conference Center consists of several flexibly - shaped halls, all equipped with modern audio-visual facilities. Main hall hosts events with a max capacity of 150 guests. Meeting rooms for up to 50 guests, plus smaller breakout rooms.
