"The Atrium Palace is a very nice hotel. It is well planned and beautifully planted so that there are lots of hidden places and a variety of pools. We thought breakfast was good and we ate once at the Asterias restaurant and that was superb - beautiful setting. We went in October so it wasn't that busy - I'm not sure I would like it so much in the height of Summer. Very kindly the staff changed our room as the first, although lovely, was a bit noisy as it was situated over the entertainment area. There are a few tavernas nearby otherwise there isn't much around really and nowhere to walk to. Having said that the hotel was quiet which is just what we wanted."

"The hotel was nice although one thing to note would be that rooms are allocated upon check in. Which meant although i had booked a sea view room as we didnt check in till very late in the evening they was all gone and we were taken to another room which only upon entering and looking at the view did i see that it was not a sea view. I spoke to reception where they said that rooms are allocated upon check in only. It would have been nice to have been told this upon checking in rather than finding out once in the room, the hotel must think that people do not notice or will simply just not say anything.
We were offered a move to a sea view however it would have been in three days time, whoch would have meant unpacking and packing and then unpacking again which i didnt really fancy doing and am sure the hotel banked on this fact."

"Truly excellent hotel, staff faultless, breakfast superb, plenty of parking, very large room and private balcony, spotlessly clean everywhere and flushing toilets - thankfully no paper in bins. Fresh fruit in room every day. On check out day, they insisted on restocking the bathroom and clean towels so we could shower before leaving. Plenty of sun beds around pools, water refreshingly cool, perfect for 90 degree temps. Air con struggled on particularly hot nights. Price of water etc in hotel shop was same as local supermarket and so convenient. Lots of shady nooks with comfy chairs for reading or snoozing. Absolutely no complaints and would recommend 100% for quiet, relaxing holiday."

"the hotel was lovely, very clean. not verymuch available in the surrounding area's however a taxi ride was only five mins and cost 10 euro's to get to Lindo's which had some very nice restaurants and night life.
the hotel states it is 5 star i would only rate this as a passable 4 star, food was good but not good enough and not enough choice. staff service was not that of a 5 star hotel.
very clean and well kept in all area's. There is a very good childrens play area and lots of pool area's for children but not enough activites for them during the day. Entertainment in the evening would rate as a 3 star hotel very basic."

"the hotel was lovely, the beach was stoney but nice, and there were always enough deck chairs on the beach or around the pools. It is not very close to much, the nearest town is nice to look around, but doesn't have that much there. But for a relaxing holiday it is a great place. The food in the resturants is very nice as well."

"This was a beautiful hotel which had everything you would need on site - restaurants, mini market, bars and nightly entertainment. The staff are all very friendly and the maid service next to none.

My only disappointment was the facilities on the beach. Kalathos beach is not sandy (pebbles and shingle) which I know the hotel can do nothing about, but I do feel for a 5* hotel the sunbeds and umbrellas could be replaced and a wooden walkway down to the shore would make a world of difference."

"The Hotel was clean and had good facilities, however there were some things which were dissappointing. There were not enough sun beds on the Hotel's private beach, and although the Hotel have supposedly agreed that they will pay the land owner if their residents use the sun beds on the public beach, this is clearly not working in practice. On two occasions we had to ask the reception staff to walk back with us to the beach and agree they would pay the land owner, but because we have a little knowledge of the language we are not convinced the land owner is actually being reimbursed. (He did not want / nor need to debates with residents, and would have gladly let us use his beds if he were being paid as promised!) On one occasion when we asked the Hotel reception to help us regarding use of the beds on the public beach we were told "you should have gone to the beach earlier" ! I consider this to be rather rude.

The entertainment was not bad, but hardly 5*. The rooms were "hit and miss" I booked two rooms, separately, once my daughter decided to join me. They should have been the same, but one was far superior to the other. My son paid extra for a Super De Luxe suite, and we were not convinced this is what he was given, it was less luxurious than may daughters, although better than mine!

This is not the place to holiday if you like to be near to a town, or nightlife. We tried both the bus and the taxi's into Lindos, (bus stop was a fair walk in the heat), and without these trips we would have grown very bored."

"Eventually overcame not having a room or reservation, though it took until lunchtime the next day to fix. End of October and an end-of-season, we're getting ready to close, feel in the hotel and throughout the island (with shop, restaurant and timeshare salesmen ALL ready to pounce!). Really a 4 star hotel with a very unattractive beach and with 1 star beach equipment... worn-out, rusty and piled up in a heap on a deserted beach - VERY dissappointing. Staff very helpful."

"Good facilities and overall enjoyed our stay. Main comment was that food was only ok, we chose not to eat in the main hotel buffet other than the included breakfast. Not a 5 star but a 4 star hotel. "300 + bed hotel in 2 blocks set around atriums. Useful base for both package and independent travellers.Clean accommodation, friendly and attentive staff. Good balance of restaurants for dinner including local taverna. Plenty of loungers around the pool areas and by the sea. Very efficiently run place.
Doubtful if it is worth taking a room with a full sea view as the main building is set 200 m from the sea and the whole area is very flat. You would be unlucky to get a bad view from side view sea rooms as there are no buildings adjacent to the hotel. Good place for a relaxing break in October although told that temparatures had reached 47 deg C in summer with 35 deg at 22.00 hrs."
