Hotel clean, food was good. great position for pubs and restaurants. suitable for families and traveeling alone.

Jos Diner. Good food

Our second visit to the Avanti Hotel and we will definitely choose to stay there again. We had a fabulous room, clean, comfy beds, complimentry tea/coffee tray and sunny balcony with wonderful sea view. We love the pool bar. Beach is 3mins walk away and plenty of bars and restaurants in the immediate area. It is about 15 - 20mins walk to the main harbour when you fancy a change of scenery. Pleasant staff - just a fab hotel all round.

If i have to fault anything it would be breakfast - we would dearly love a better selection of fresh fruit in the morning rather than just apples!

We did not eat in the hotel every night, but when we did the food served was always very good quality and ample choice.

Try Rendevous opposite the Avanti Hotel main entrance for great food and wonderful service.

Hotel was very nice and very clean, beds were changed everyday, staff are all very helpful and very pleasent.The only downside is that you need to put your towels on the sun beds very early i.e 7 am, otherwise you won't get any all day. If you want to be in the quiet area of paphos then this hotel is for you, as main area is about 20 mins walk.
Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice to choose from.poolside snack bar is excellent.I would probably stay here again.

Hotel was excellent, maid cleaned room and left fresh towels daily. Sheets were changed couple of times while we were there and we were only staying 7 days. Food in the restaurant was above average and the choice would suit everyone.There were different themes each night ie BBQ, Seafood ,Italian, Cypriat, around the world & Mediterranean with the Cypriat and the BBQ being served in the outside Taverna this meant that it did not feel like we were eating at the same place each night. Breakfasts also were very good with choice of cereals Boiled, Fried or scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, french toast, Tomato with ham and cheese on top, beans mushrooms, fresh bread to cut or sliced bread to toast croissants and cake each day as well as the usual cold continental breakfasts ie yohgurt cheese ham etc. also water fresh juice tea coffee & hot chocolate. The hotel entertainment was there during the day & in the evening for those wishing to take part but there was no pressure if this was not your thing. The pool was great especially the swim up bar and great that the hotel supplies towels for the pool no damp towels to hang uo on balcony. Nice walking distance to the harbour and the sister hotel Avanti village was minutes away which has little bars restaurants at the entrance. The beach that was very close was not the best but okay if you want a dip in the sea, and was very quite with selection of watersports and loungers available

I would not rate this hotel as 4Star, its more like a 3 star. Tired looking and frayed round the edges.
it does have a good location, and has good pool facilities.

Good restaurants nearby, Bombay, Rib Shack and Rimini ( always good food and great service)

Ficardo's (I think) over the road from the hotel was excellent. He loved us visiting his restaurant and rewarded our consumption of Cypriot food with a history lesson and a family photo album.

Really lovely hotel with lovely staff always on hand to help or answer any queries. The outdoor pool was lovely plenty of sunbeds in the shade or in the sun Lovely little hotel shop which offers daily papers drinks etc and quite reasonably priced
We went for the bed and breakfast option but the Avanti have a great flexi diner plan which we used on 3 occasions the food was lovely and you had a great choice ..we rarely had room for desserts!

Pissouri beach is about 20 minute drive but is not crowded and makes for a great day out TheRomantica restaurant which is about 10 min stroll from hotel on the beach road on the way to the harbour is a lovely restaurant with lovely food and friendly staff and above the romantica is a lovely fish restaurant which is great value for money if you decide to choose the set menu

There was a mistake with our booking and the wrong hotel voucher was supplied to the hotel, which made checking in stressful and unpleasant. The staff weren't particulary helpful.

The hotel was NOT 4 star and I would descibe it as tired. The location was good, close to a number of restaurants but the beach is man-made and very minimal.

I would descibe the hotel as basic and wouldn't recommend it to a friend.

Visit Pahpos but dont stay at the Avanti hotel!

This is a great hotel. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Lots of activities and entertainments. I especially would like to thank Adel, Aneita, Kostos, Stanlo, & all the staff. We really enjoyed our stay and everyone was trying to help in anyway possible. The food is excellent and the open buffet for dinner is very very good and very reasonably priced compared to outside. There are different themes every night. There is also entertainment in the hotel lobby every night always including children disco which the kids loved. There is also a Dancer's show & Cyprus/Greek dance show along with Karokee. The pool is quite big with a bar in the middle and the children's pool is very nice. The location of the hotel is very convenient with a 10-15min walk from the harbour. I would highly recomment this hotel to anyone and we look forward to going there again.

You must visit Demokritos (a Cyprus restaurant which has a Greek dance show almost every night). This is 15min walk from the hotel.
There are also a couple of restaurants on the way which have a 3-course menu for 11Euros + free bottle of wine when 2 or more dine together.
The best beach is Coral Bay but this is almost 30mins away and need to go by bus but it is worth it.
I would recommend a visit to the Bird and Anaimal park if you have children - they will definitely enjoy it. Also the Aphrodite Water Park was amazing although quite expensive. Don't miss the Old Market which you can also go by Bus.

Ahving been to Cyprus many times over the last years I t was the first Time I have stayed at the avanti. The staff were more than friendly even down to the last day when we had the later flight back from Paphos international they allowed us to use the showers and even booked us a cab back to the airport which was there in under 2 mins

Brothers Restaraunt is well worth a visit although if you go up into town I would more than suggest that you visit my friend at scorpios bar

The avanti hotel is a very spacious hotel set in large gardens and pool area. It has a full range of leisure and sport facilities, its own taxi service, and a very large car park should you wish to hire a car. The room and ensuite bathroom was well fitted out and comfortable. The TV in the bedroom featured a full range of english speaking programs including bbc1,2,3+sky news, itv and others which was a pleasant change from the usual limited choice. The breakfast was taken on an spacious open patio or indoors as required. The breakfast was adequate but average. The evening meals however were quite exceptional both in choice, taste, and quality, to the extent that I really looked forward to them. The head chef deserves congratulation. The only downside was the car hire from OASIS which was a poor vehicle collected on arrival from the airport.

The hotel is dated and requires some attention to compete with the more modern hotels in the area. That said, the rooms are spacious, the staff are friendly and helpful and the general location and facilities are relatively good.

A safe enclosed man-made swimming area at the rear of the nearby Amatheus Hotel and a very friendly restaurant/bar across the road called the Rosatelle.

A four star hotel that is in need of a little revamping. Had a problem with ants in our room/bathroom. Nightlife not great and quite a lot of kids so if you are a couple looking for a quiet getaway this is not the hotel.

Go to the Flintstones bar near the harbour on Bar Street - Great Fun!

If you can try and stay away from the crocodile bar. there are other bars and great restaurants in Paphos a 10 min walk away.catch a bus to Coral Bay for the day.
