"Welcome drink on arrival, clean spacious accommodation and surroundings, friendly staff, good food and superb facilities on site (supermarket, payphone) Good information from hotel - free Map of Kos and bus timetables.

Stunning pool and hotel's private beach about 75 yards from hotel - sand and clear waters - complimentary watermelon brought round every day at 12.30! Beach towels provided and robes/slippers in the large bedrooms.

A truly excellent resort."

"Hotel stay Aug 08. Hotel completely full, which meant space at a premium. The hotel itself is made up of at least ten separate blocks, which is really too many for the grounds the hotel sit in. Therefore, very little space to sit outside and relax in the evening , and extremely difficult to get sunbeds around by the pool unless prepared to rise very early in the morning.

The food was good - plenty of choice, although a little samey samey over two weeks. Did try the Ala Carte, but felt main restaurant offered more choice.

Overall fair AI, but didn't compare favourably to the five star AI complexes in Lara (Turkey)"

"The Hotel was Very nice, the staff were always friendly espeically in the bar and restaurant area. The only negative point which we had is we were put in to the annex of the hotel, which was about a 5min walk back to the hotel complex which was so hot walking back to and from the restaurant/bar. We would have asked to be moved but we had so much luggage to unpack."

"Probably one of the best hotels we have stayed in, excellent accommodation, food, pool, and amenities. The evening entertainment was 'ok', but having stayed for two weeks, watching a repeat didn't appeal to us. Staff were always courteous, and couldn't do enough to ensure we were welcomed. The daily room cleaning service was faultless.
Only downside was the all-inclusive drinks were rather weak in alcohol content, but the way aroud it is to order doubles or even treble measures when ordering your drinks. Sunbeds were almost all reserved with towels before 7am, typical when you have a majority of German and Dutch guests, but the hotel are trying to overcome this by stating they will remove any unattended belongings if the sunbed is not occupied for any length of time, although I didn't see this happen.
The staff in the restaurants are very keen to remove any finished dishes from your table, so don't put your fork down for a second, they will assume you've finished your meal and will try to take your plate away!.
Overall a fantastic place to stay, and would have no reservatios about returning there again."

"Plus points:

Above average for the hotel but the annex was below average.
The gardens were fantastic and tended to every day.
The Pool was massive, clean and tidy.
Staff were always very pleasant.
The FOOD was the best thing about the holiday (apart from the sun). This was definitely five star and catered for every need. Brussels for breakfast however is a mystery??

Negative points:

We were placed in a new annex (OFF SITE), gardens and grass (rubbish). The annex appeared to be joined to the three star hotel (Athena Beach).
Room was damp, no hot water in the morning, TV was intermittent and only one channel. No milk left for tea/coffee.
Asked for problems to be solved every day for five days."
