"hotel half-way up a mountain stunning view, but the steps to your room was an effort. town very near a small river which when we were there was a green colour and stagnate.
there was a problem with fly's and mosquitoes which could have improved if the hotel had switched on their A/C units in the restaurant. the staff were so busy they did not smile or felt they did not need too, the food was very bland it was not 4 star more a 3 would i recommend this hotel, sorry no."

"A lovely hotel, very clean, the only down side was the bathrooms could do with updating,the rooms were clean every day and the views were amazing it is on a hill but the view are well worth the walk.The staff are helpful and friendly and the food was out of this world, pool was little cramped but theres a free suttle service to an excellent beach, with a snack bar that service lovely food. We took my 13 year old son who was never bored we had a great time here and would definitly go back."

"Not a 4 star more like a 3 star!
Situated on a hillside to get to the beach or village was a mini bus or taxi ride, the hotel did provide a free shuttle bus every hour to the beach but you could get off at the taxi rank at the bottom of the hill & walk for 2 minutes to the village.
I would go back to Sarigerme but not to the Caria."

"the food was very poor, im not a fussy eater but the choice was very limited, and what was not eaten one day turned up the next day disguised as something else.
The views where fantasic, especially from our room which was over 200 steps up.
Shuttle bus supplied by the hotel goes to the beach throughout the day and to the local village in the evening. The beach is well worth a visit, and there is an all inclusive bar and sun beds for caria guests. This can be found if you follow the path from the barrier, where the bus drops you off, round to the left, you pass a couple of other bars before coming to it. If you want to go to the village during the day the bus driver will drop you at the bottom of the crossroads on his way, turn left to go in to village not very far, then when finished its a 10 minute walk back to the beach to get bus back, there is a tractor that runs from the village to the beach free of charge but wasnt running the day we went in to town."

"WARNING – This place is not only waste of money, It’s waste of holiday.
Caria was the worst four star hotel I have ever stayed in. I rate this hotel no more than three star. Place is full of arrogant Russians and nearly all BAR staff are rude and lazy and they just don’t want to serve you unless you demand to be served. Courtesy bus drivers are just miserable and won’t talk or listen to anyone.
I booked two rooms for family of five and on arrival they only gave me one family room which sleeps three!!!. They said that hotel was fully booked and only one room was available. I saw the room and went ballistic, I demanded two rooms which I got next day. This is despite me contacting them to confirming my rooms a week before my travel.
Rooms are very basic and shower cubicle looks like it’s been put together by ten year old. All rooms are high up on the hill and that means hill-walking and lots of steps.
I spoke to many guests and could not find a single person that said they would recommend this dump to any one."

"The whole family really enjoyed this holiday and would rate it as one of our best so far. The resort was brilliant, water slides great for the kids, good choice of food and the staff were all very friendly. The beach wasn't that close but there was a courtesy bus to it so no problem. Overall top holiday."

"had to queue for a table every night for at least half an hour in the restuarant, when we finally got a table we then had to queue for food (which was disgusting) salads on hot plates, cold food, sometimes had to wait for plates. coffee all day but no tea except breakfast and 5pm tea and cookies. no warning of how hot the water was. electric kept going off. got eye infection from the pool. pool towels in poor condition."

"as hotel was on 9 outside levels I would not recomend it for people with mobility difficulties. It was not near beach but mini buses regularly went to beach untill 6 30pm. There was also a cafe catering to all inclusive guests and lots of sunbeds and sun shades. In the evening mini bus again went to the village where there were a few restuarants and shops. On Sundays there was a market. The hotels entertainment team were very good and had something for all who wanted to do more than sunbathing. Restaurant was very busy but had a good selection."

"VERY DISAPOINTED AS THE DAY WE ARIVED AT THE HOTEL WE WERE TOLD THEY HAD NO ROOM FOR US. WE WERE SENT TO ANOTHER HOTEL FOR THE FIRST NIGHT, WHEN WE ARRIVED BACK IN THE MORNING, STILL THEY HAD NO ROOM AVAILABLE UNTIL LUNCH TIME!! WE LOST A DAY AND A HALF OF OUR 7 NIGHT STAY. THE FOOD WAS TERRIBLE, THERE WAS NEVER ENOUGH DINNER TABLES AVAILABLE, THE STAFF WERE VERY UN PROFESSIONAL."

"There is one nice thing about this hotel - the view. Having said that, we were put in probably one of the only rooms in the whole place without one - even though we were on the very top level. The pool is small and overcrowded by about 9am; the food is dull and repetitive, that is - if you can actually get a table in the "restaurant", dinner is like feeding time at the zoo. The pleasant outdoor terrace is impossible to eat on because of the ridiculous amount of wasps that swarm around you (obviously insect repellant doesn't exist at the Caria Resort). Our room was awful. In hindsight I wish I had spent a bit more and gone to the Magic Life resort down the road."

"Just got back on Friday morning, so this review is based on the last 14 days at the Caria resort.

Firstly, on arrival, the drive up the mountain sets up for whats ahead. Once there you have to go through a scurity barrier with Turkish Police controlling access from and to the holiday resort. The views once you get to the resort are stunning. You look out onto the sea, the mountains framing the picture, the view is fantastic.

The hotel is a self itself is set over a number of levels or streets, and if like us we did, you get a room on the 6th floor, you will come home with stronger legs than you went with. VERY tiring doing the trek up and down the stairs. We could have complained and asked to move (wish did), but we could not be bothered with the hassle.

The bar staff seem to work all day everyday, They all deserve some serious respect for the work they put in for you in dishing out the drinks and taking away the plates/dishes. The same can be said about the cleaning staff. Always pleasent, and courteous.

The animation team are fun and very friendly and put some entertainment round the pool. They also put some really funny shows in the evening in the Ampti Theatre.

The food. I though the food selection was great. Ok dont expect British food or a wide range of hot dishes menu, but the salad and fruite selection was very good. Personally the selection was limited, but the quality and cleanleness was good.

The family room was very basic, but the air-con worked, the shower was mouldy, but again worked and the room was cleaned every day with clean towels, so it could have been a lot worse. We were on the 3rd level, so we could not complain about too many steps!"

"The Hotel was Really nice itself , staff we very helpful and always plenty to eat if you like chicken and salad plus trying other dishies.

Only problem was hotel was on a cliff side with 8 levels and if you are near the top lots of stairs but fantastic views"

"The hotelk was dirty and the service was poor. In our room was a smell of damp, bathroom had black and yellow corners. Beach was half an hour from the hotel, yes there was a bus to teh beach but always busy. Food was the same and that was naothink special. Entertiment was pooe as well.We won't came back there any more...."
