"Godd value for money as a 3 star hotel - only issue was with the fish restaurent which was totally unacceptable ! Staff showed no interest in us from start to finish leaving us to get up and walk away. Having asked for menues on 2 occasions we choose our food only to be told that 2 main options were not available - should have been notified when issuing menus.
Food was poorly cooked and presented and having waited some 20 minutes for coffee gave up. The white wine was not drinkable.
Other customers were clearly experienceing similar experiences.

The main eating areas were fine as was the entertainment."

"The hotel and facilities were brilliant. The rooms were clean, the food was good, the staff were friendly. The beach was clean and plenty of sunbeds were to be had. The staff organised pool games which my boys loved. The swimming pools were cleaned regularly and were lovely. The banana boat was an experience not be missed a good laugh was had by all.

My only complaint would be that the show each evening didn't start until 9.45 which i found a bit late especially as all the bars (except the restaurant ones) were outside and on the evenings it rained there wasn't much to do betweeen having dinner and the show starting.

All in all we really enjoyed our stay at Casa Marine Reef although when out and about you do get pestered rather a lot by the locals wanting you to go into their shops (just remember not to look at anyone or smile!!)"

"Although not the best hotel I have stayed in whilst in the Caribbean. I thought the staff and setting made up for the basic rooms. When I first arrived I was put on the ground floor which smelt very damp. I was immediately moved to the 1st floor when I complained without delay. I would like to say that the staff and locals are absolutely lovely people and made our stay feel very welcome indeed. The entertainment was very good and all staff made lots of effort and I could sense that they really enjoyed their jobs."
