  • "We were shocked at first to find that this hotel was so far away from the centre of Empuriabravo, and as a result it took us a long time to find it. Finally, it was on the airfield on the outskirts, a bit of a shock!
    Read on - Actually it turned out to be the best hotel of the holiday and I would definatley stay there again. We had asked for a room with a view, as it happened it was a balcony with a lot of interesting activity (Birds in beautiful trees, aircraft taking off (Stangely enough not noisy or distrubing) parachutes landing, paracending motorised taking off and landing, football field floodlit, Karting track, and the distant sights of Roses bay and so on. Very Interesting! and we had a real giggle - It was so full of activity on that balcony and at the same time very relaxing.
    The hotel was just as the interent demonstrated/illustrated (Really nice). The building was great, the car park very secure, the restaurant and breakfast room could not be faulted and the staff really funny and very friendly. The reception was very attractive and it was really nice. The swiming pool was closed which was a bit dissapppointing as it looked great and the temps were 27 plus (It was just Oct and that is end of season). The room was good too, everything rated well in my eyes except the location although it was quiet..."

  • "The hotel is located in what can only be described as an industrial area, the general reception rooms were reasonable but the upper floors and bedrooms were depressing, dark miserable decoration throughout! The room we were given stank of stale smoke, so we requested a none smoking room, only to be told all rooms are smoking. Our second room was usable but only just. Despite all the above the restaurant was excellent as was the food, all the staff were extremely pleasant and polite. The staff can not make up for a bad Hotel, all a bit of a pity as it's an area we enjoy to visit, but not again in this hotel!"

The hotel is located in a rather quite area of Empúriabrava, the biggest entertainment and recreational harbour in Europe. This is about two kilometres from the beach and the centre of the commercial area with all type of shops, bars and restaurants. It is seven kilometres from the Parque Natural dels Aiguamolls and just one kilometre from Cadaqués. The hotel is built in a rustic, Catalan style, has the best services of an establishment of its category and is ideal for relaxation.

Accommodation

This farmhouse offers 61 rooms private bath or shower with hair-dryer, telephone, piped music, terrace or balcony, heating, air-conditioning, satellite TV. Rooms connected are available on request. Baby cots are available on request and at an extra cost. Linen is changed three times per week, while towels are changed daily.

Facilities & Services

The air-conditioned restaurant serves breakfast (buffet-style), lunch and dinner. Enjoy the outdoor swimming pool, the pool-bar and the terrace-solarium. This unit also has two lifts, bar, luggage store room, night security, garage-parking with security, conference room (70 people max), children park and garden. You will also find mini-golf, satellite TV room, internet connection, video games and pool table. Pets (up to 5 kg) are admitted with a supplemental daily charge. Safety deposit-boxes are available on request at the reception at an additional fee. It has facilities for handicapped, such as access to most areas and a small number of adapted rooms. The hotel presents an entertainment program one or two nights per week on low and high season respectively.
