"The apartment at celeste was clean and basic. the complex is spilt over 3 blocks each with its own gate which is locked at all times. the apartments are in a perfect location, a two minute walk will take you to the beach, supermarkets or restaurants. The only negative thing about the apartment was it could bo with a lick of paint on the inside, the decor is very dated...but i suppose you get what you pay for!! I would most certainly go back"
Top Tip:
"I would highly recommend Bogarts, a pizziera directly facing the apartment block. We ate pizzas, steaks and pasta dishes each one very tastsy. I would also recommend the Highlander Pub it does a great cooked breaskfasts for 3 euro, it runs along the front of the complex so is extremely handy, it also has good entertainment most nights and the landlord makes you fell very welcome!
We had a great night in the Lovely Ladys Club, it was a drag queen show performed by the two guys that own the place. Very enjoyable night!"Celeste Apartments check-in Date:

"We had an excellent time at the Celeste Apartments. Our room was basic but had everything we needed for a self catering stay. Our terrace was in the sun for six hours so we could do plenty of sunbathing. The reception staff and cleaners were very friendly and helpful. It is an ideal place to stay as it is very near to the beach and the shops. Costa Teguise is a great place to holiday. We would stay at the Celeste again."

"Celeste is a great place nothing fancy but clean great location. Not suitable for young children as the pools dont really have a very shallow end. We would stay there again"

"very quiet and basic but this is reflected in the price.
a lot depends on which apartment you receive because they range from a pool side apartment with a sea view to the one we received which was surrounded by the staff apartments and on the main thoroughfare from the entertainment so we were 'entertained' at 1am 2am 3am 4am before being awakened by the staff at 7am."Top Tip:

"Very friendly, helpfull staff. Apartment was basic but kept very clean. Only drawback was that the pools were very small but this didn't hamper our holiday."

"We booked these apartments as we have stayed there twice before and find they fulfill all our needs as a family group. This consists of a 6yr old his mum and grandma.
The staff are polite and helpful, the apartments are basic but have everything for your holiday needs, and are cleaned regularly.
The fact that they consist of three independant groups of apartments each with own pool means they never seem busy or crowded, in fact we had the pool to ourselves on many occasions. They are also quiet, with guests all seeming to respect others while being friendly.
We were all very happy with our stay."Top Tip:
"There are many excellent restaurants very close to the apartments, some of our favourites are - Portofino's, El Mastill - for a great steak, and for a snack Tischlein deck - Dick - The Wishing Table - a german place serving many types of german sausage and lovely home made goulash.

"Ideal self-catering appartments. Pleasant complex & good to see that the staff don't change from one year to the next - they must be doing something right."

"Tex-mex place in the market square which is only a 5 minute walk from the appartments - king prawn fajitas - delicious!

"This is the fourth time we have stayed in the Celeste appartments & I would recommend them everytime! They are clean and tidy & the surrounding gardens are always well kept & very, very pretty! The appartments are a stones throw away from the main beach & all the bars & restaurants! Costa Teguise is one of the most loveliest & frinedliest resorts I have ever been to, we've been going for 5 years now & still not bored! Lanzarote is a most beautiful island unspoilt by high rised buildings!

"The Celeste apartments are basic but nice, they are clean and the staff are friendly and very helpful and they are central for shops, pubs and restaurants. It is also 5min from the beach. The only problem is if you had very young children, the pool does not have a shallow end and there is no children pools."

"Only problem with the apartments is that the pools are not suitable for children under the approx age of 6 as they are too deep and the child can not touch the bottom of the pool but the beach is only about 5 - 10 mins walk away"

"This is the second time we have stayed in these apartments as we visit friends who live in Costa Tequise.
We found them to be very good, clean and within easy reach to all amenities needed.
The staff on the reception desk are very heplful and friendly and the cleaning to the apartments we found to be done most days with changing of towels and bed linen also.
The locals pubs and resturants just outside the apartments are very friendly too.
We also found it to be very quiet in the evenings when going to bed and had very good nights sleeping."Top Tip:
"We found L'AperitivoDe Alesio Resturant just a little way alone from the apartments to be very good and very friendly. You could have a 3course meal for 8 Euros.
The other resturant we found to be very good was one called La Ola on the seafront just at the back of the apartments.
We also found several beaches, although a couple very windy but some you could find shelter and enjoy, although the water was a little cold.
My husband and I always enjoy our holidays on Costa Tequise because we find the people where ever you go to be very friendly and helpful.

"We have stayed at the Celeste Apartments around ten times now. Although it is fairly basic it has made small but positive changes over the years. It is ideal for people on a budget or those looking for a no-fuss place to stay. (There is no Kids Club and no organised entertainment.) The pool areas were fairly quiet at this time of year although they can be busier during the summer months."

"After reading a few negative reviews about the hotel, (after booking) i was a bit apprehensive but found the hotel clean, the staff helpful and the location excellent. All the resturants were lovely but avoid the lighthouse resturant, the staff were surly and the food was disgusting the only bad meal in all our stay."

"the lsla bonita resturant in playa bastin is superb, the service and food are both excellent, made a really special night. Although from the outside it looked tacky. the tapas bar in the square just down from the hotel is also excellent, a real taste of spain. "Although this hotel is classed as a 2 star, we were very pleased with the accommodation. The apartments are placed in 3 blocks, each block surrounding a pool area, they were pleasently decorated and had adequate appliances etc. They are sited in an excellent area of Teguise, with all amenities close by. I would definately use these appartments again!"
