"The Comodoro is one of the original developments in Los Cristianos, an eleven floor tower block, it is basic but clean.The secret is its location.Step out of its rear gate onto the promenade.The pool area,newly refurbished, is very quiet.Many of the apartments are owned by residents of various nationalities.There is a handily situated taxi rank immediately outside the front of the Comodoro.Many people,like myself return to the Comodoro year after year."

"I thought the Comodoro was lovely the staff where very friendly and very helpful. The apartment was clean and tidy with everything we needed beds changed and fresh towels everyday. Very quiet just what we wanted. I would definetely stay there again."

"As always we had a wonderful stay. Each time we have been allocated a different room and floor, but always with a good view from the balcony. This time, as before we asked if we could keep the room on as we had an evening flight. Due to being fully booked unfortunately we were unable to do so"

"I have given you this report because I have been before to the comodoro and although it is very basic I would recomend it to anyone it is very clean/ good position/ very nice pool and very friendly,

This time we never actually got there as freedom flights collapsed on the day we where to travel,

I have wrote a letter to you regards refund on our hotel and transfers bit as yet I have heard nothing, could you please look into this for me, I have sent the forms to the CAA regards our flights"

"Friendly service and good value for money. It's actually more apartment rental than hotel and the rooms can vary in quality. This time the room was the best I'd had there. I've stayed here several times now and never been disappointed in my expectations. Bearing in mind expectations for this kind of place is not like I would expect when paying a lot more money."

"Ideal location at bottom of the hill and next to the beach (and the market on Sundays). Taxi rank outside if transport required -handy if you haven't booked airport transfers. Quite basic accommodation (ok if not spending much time indoors) with minimal cutlery, crockery & pans but very clean & tidy with minimal wildlife. Staff on reception 24/7 but most speak very little English but were helpful all the same. Hot water heater broke down on our 2nd day but was fixed within an hour of reporting fault. Maid attends most days but only to empty bins, replace towels or change sheets."

"The building is falling apart and it really needs refurbishment. Rooms were not cleaned every day, I only noticed someone had walked in to make my bed. There was a cockroach in the kitchen drawer where utensils are kept.

Apart from that, I had a nice balcony with a gorgeous view of the sea. The place is close enough to restaurants and beaches, but distanced enough to be quiet. The swimming pool is really nice too!

Bar staff very friendly, but that bar needs a new look, very tacky!"

"although the comodoro was cheap, it was clean and served as a good place to sleep. if you want luxury then dont go here, but if you want value for money and only use the apartment to rest your weary head thens its all you need. the pools were clean and child friendly and had a couple of showers alongside. the bar is accessable from the pool. the beach is only a couple of minutes away, as are shops for food etc. only one complaint, when we asked for sheets for the sofa beds they never turned up!!"

"I have stayed there several times and always enjoy it. The main reason is that is on the flat promenade where there are no hills to climb. It is also near everything from bars, restaurants etc and is even next door tothe Sunday market. Very popular."

"very very basic.... for a self catering appt. it lacked basic equipment, had to eat out every night... needed to ask for bed linen on arrival+ an extra chair, which was difficult because i cant speak Spanish, and they spoke little English.
often had to use the service lift because one of the guest lifts kept getting stuck with people inside... did not want to risk it with my children!
on the whole not a friendly feeling place..."
