"Lovely hotel, rooms basic but towels changed every day, beds made every day, food really nice and something for everyone, we had a fantastic time would recommend for 1 weeks holiday to relax, swimming pools good size and right on the beach, Greek waiters gorgeous."

"The hotel was great, very clean, sheets and towels changed every day. The food was good, buffet style at every sitting. If you missed breakfast in the restaurant you can still get a breakfast and many other things at the little outside cafe. It is open from 10 am until 11pm. The staff were great very welcoming in fact we had a great time."

"It was a really beautiful and clean hotel. The room we had was spacious and clean and very nicely decorated in simple style. The bathroom was excellent and we had a jacuzzi bath that we didn't have to pay extra for. The only downside was the entertainment is was a bit Butlins style but we met some great friends and had a wicked time drininkg by the pool bar in the evenings after dinner. The food was really good and there was always something for everyone to eat. The salads were fantastic and there was always at least 3 meats available. Overall would i go back again...Most definately"

"The hotel was very clean. The food was great. Air con could have been better. Children/young peoples entertainment throughout the day was great. The kids loved it. The evening entertainment was poor (or just not our taste). But there were two other places to hang out in the evenings.

Nice break. Not overly exciting, but nice."

"The hotel was kep beautifully clean, and although the choice of food was a little limited, we enjoyed what was available. The desserts seemed to run out before the end of the evening.

The staff were very helpful and friendly and minor problems, i.e. fridge not working, were rectified immediately.

Our only quibble would be that the hotel and entertainment is more suited to families with children, and as we are an older couple we would have preferred more mature entertainment. However, it was close to half term so that was more our own fault for timing."

"we thought DOREETA BEACH was value for money i enjoyed the food immensly although my husband felt it was all the same. Our main complaint is when the air conditioning went off on Sept 30th loud music played from across the road very often till 4am in the morning impossible to leave balcony door's open because of noise,too hot to keep them closed-result two people very glad to be home to have a night's sleep,(also bed's are rock hard)
Also, no grown up entertainment we felt the hotel would benefit from a live band and a dance floor.At 9pm a group of 5 people entertained the children to a disco at 10pm the same people tried very hard to entertain the grown up's all finished by 11pm"

"All I have to say is that my family and I will definitley go back there because the Hotel was excellent and I have nothing bad to say about the place.Anyone who doesan't have a good time there should maybe book their next holiday in Brighton, because I don't know how anyone can not have a good time there. We were looking for somewhere were we could just relax and that is all we did."

"Having read some of the comments before travelling we were a bit dubious about this hotel. No need to have been, the hotel was spotlessly clean, the rooms were excellent with sea and pool views and the food was very good and hot. Staff were friendly and there were plenty of sun beds around the pool area and on the beach. The only down side was that the evening entertainment was poor. All in all we had an excellent all inclusive holiday."

"Three of us booked in yet the hotel only provided 2 pillows and 2 towels for the batroom. There was poor information given, for example we had to provide or ever buy our own towels for the beach and the fact we had no trvel notice board providing information about local boat trips or excursions!. And when we came to extend our stay they did not even have a spare room available even though they were aware that a mojority of peoples flights were not leaveing till 11pm and we all had to be checked out of our rooms by 12noon! As for the entertainment in the eve.... it was AWFUL!!"

"Room on was on refurbished 3rd floor and was excellent, Seaview was over top of another building. Room cleanliness excellent. Buffet food average, cooked breakfast below english standard.. Beach gritty sand and not very picturesque with strong prevailing wind which could be annoying or cooling when hot. Pool area good but could be kept cleaner."

"lovely Hotel, right on the beach which was great. sea quite pebbley for the first couple of metres so dont forget your rubber shoes. Quiet resort some nice bars close by. 30 min bus ride to Rhodes town.
Our room was on the recently refirbished 3rd floor and had a spa bath as well as shower cubicle. cleaned daily, sheets and towels changed and free air con. food was good plenty of choice, but they cleared it all away on the dot. This is just an observation, but the head waiter's interaction with peoples toddlers seemed a little strange.
There was plenty to do, the entertainment team worked hard all day, yoga, water aerobics, football, vollyball, pool games for the children. There is a shallow pool for toddlers and non swimmers so don't be put off by reports of a deep pool.
We were all inclusive so local wine and beer which was ok but for some reason the vodka and brandy tasted of ouzo, ok if you like ouzo I supose! that aside I would return to this hotel."
