"Entirely enjoyed our stay. I would say the hotel is more appropriate for families.
Friendly efficient personal. Excellent food."

"Very clean hotel, some facilities not avalable due to it being near the end of the tourist season. Food was very good, with a wide range of options and something for everyone. Would definately return, a very nice environment for a family break.
The hotel beach was a little disappointing, but the great gardens and pool area made up for it, however, the beached area is great if you want to escape the pool/garden area and be away from the noise. Somewhat off the main road, so local ameneties a bit of a walk. Close to Rhodes town (15 mins by taxi).
As the hotel is only 15 minutes from the airport, you do get low flying aircraft, but as it was nearly the end of the season, this wasn't a major issue, however, I imagine it may be a bit irritating during the peak season."

"Very good hotel for couples / older people who do not necessarily want to experience night life / clubing. Would not be enough to do for younger people."

"WE READ ALOT OF TRIP ADVISOR COMMENTS SO WE WERE AWARE OF GOOD/BAD.
I HAVE TO SAY WE COULD NOT FIND FAULT WITH THIS HOTEL THE WHOLE 10 DAYS. THE MANAGER AND ALL HIS STAFF ARE TO BE CONGRATULED ON EXCELLANT SERVICE AND ATTITUDE. I HAVE TO ADD THAT WE WENT OUT OF SEASON WHICH SUITED US FINE.
MANY THANKS
MR B BEACALL"

"Comfortable rooms, excellent choice of food, friendly staff, ideal location, competitive price. Rhodes is also a scenically attractive island to drive round. In 40 years of holidays, one of the few hotels I would go back to!"

"Been to the Electra many times and enjoyed it. Believe it would not suit everyone, beach not up to much and although a bar/taverna across road, if you want a choice its a bit of a hike. Having said that we have always gone all inclusive."

"Beach poor ,very pebbley, scruffy when out of hotel perimiters .Entertainment not very interesting . Beautiful hotel in scruffy suberb ,no were at all to walk at night ."

"The hotel facilities were excellent and in the main, the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was of a good quality and there was plenty of choice. The swimming pool and gardens were well maintained. Ideal for a relaxing break. One slight downside is the location of the hotel, but a trip into Rhodes town costs just 10 - 12 euros by taxi. I would def return to this hotel."

"Just returned from the Electra Palace hotel and had a wonderful holiday. The hotel is rated as a 5 star but you need to remember this is in Greece so would personally rate this as a 4 star. Saying that though the rooms were immaculate, cleaned daily. Food really good and hot with a wide choice to suit most tastes. The Italian restaurant was excellent and the Chinese restaurant looked lovely although we didn't eat there. The all-inclusive option was great with international brands included like "Gordons" gin for all you gin and tonic fans! Hubby said beer was quite weak but you can buy "Heineken" "Bud Weiser" etc if you need a decent beer! The hotel is right on the beach with plenty of sun beds, umbrellas etc. Don't bother packing beach towels these are provided by hotel. Staff all really helpful and you can hire a car from Dimitri in the hotel reception really easily if you feel like exploring. We paid 79 euros for 3 days fully inclusive car hire. We loved the location as a peaceful spot and a short 5 minute stroll takes you to local shops, bars, restaurants etc. What we loved about the hotel was that although many things available such as Archery, table tennis competions, water polo etc you weren't hassled to join in and no loud music blaring around the pool all day. Couple of negative things now - hotel is advertised as having a gym - it doesn't! Also no library, no beauty/spa treatments available any longer. Taxi's quite reasonable paid 11 euros from airport to hotel, quick 5 minute journey so don't waste money on travel company transfers. Had fantastic holiday and would definately go back to the Electra Palace. Sure you'll love it if you go! For all of you debating whether to book with Travel Republic all I can say is this is our third time of booking and never had any problems so thanks Travel Republic once again for a wonderful holiday!"

"The Accomodation was excellent, balcony room with sea view, all very clean and generally well equipped. The Restaurant provided a high quality of range of cuisine throughout our 10 day visit. The beach has mainly rounded pebbles with some sand - the same applies to the area in the sea immediately in the hotel vicinity. The hotel is beneath the flight path for the main airport - there is some noise but this is only occasionally for a very short time."

"Excellent hotel; food great. Sataff helpfull. Pool fantastic. Evening entertainment so so. Not much near by."

"We came back from our trip to Rhodes almost a week ago and already miss it. What a beautiful place to visit. The only comments I would have about the hotel is that it's a bit out of the way of everything. If you are younger and want to go to different restaurants and bars, I would suggest going closer to Rhodes Town which is buzzing and gorgeous.
Electra Palace is lovely though. It's clean, the staff are nice, the food is delicious.
The pool is clean and quite big.
I would definately recommend going to this hotel - it's a shame to be home."

"Decent 4 star hotel but not 5 star. Very clean. Food was good but a bit repetitive for us as we are vegetarian. Italian restaurant was very good. Staff very friendly. Very popular with families but not a lot for teenagers to do. Not much to do locally outwith the hotel.
We requested a high floor, asked for adjoining rooms as we have children (e-mailed a week before to confirm this) and paid for a pool view. We were given the first floor (hotel 5 floors), the rooms were several rooms apart round a corner and only one had a pool view. We did get a move to adjoining rooms the next day with the pool view.
Overall we enjoyed our stay."

"Have used this hotel many times, while there were quite a few kids the majority of people returning for 2nd, 3rd times seemed to be older. Food and rooms excellent and the staff could not be nicer or more helpful."

"Hotel was very nice and very clean. Not a lot of food choice for a 5 star. Italian restaurant very nice, not very keen on Chinese restaurant. Bar service very slow, don't know how they will cope during the busy season. Not very many English speaking guests, mostly German, Dutch and Russian. We eventually found the town, quite a few bars and shops. Mini bar in room is a complete con, it is only filled the day you arrive if you are lucky. It stated in their hotel book mini bar in room replenished daily, when we questioned this we were told only done on day of arrival. The hotel states card tables available but they are in main lounge which people use even if they are not playing cards. Overall hotel ok, but would not hurry back."

"Very pleasant hotel with freindly staff. Ideal for older families or couples. Not many people from the Uk. Bar staff could be more friendly towards the English. Food excellen t, pool excellent and clean, a bit misleading about the mini bar, we thought all inclusive included the mini bar, which it did, but once consumed, not replenished. plenty of sun beds but not many with unbrellars, unless you are prepared to get up at 7am and put a towel out. We then found that peaple were going out for hours and returning to late afternoon to claim the towel and unbrella. In the meantime the ones who did not want to get up at the crack of dawn were left trying to find a shady tree and we very annoyed that 30% or more of the unbrellas were not being used. Maybe the hotel should look into this and have rule, which other hotels we have stayed in, make it very clear that all beds which are not occupied for more than 2 hours will be removed. Evening entertainment was very poor."

"Absolutley fantastic from start to finish! Will definitely return to this hotel & will DEFINITELY use Travel Republic again!"

"Very friendly and helpful staff, great food, maybe not for those who like basic food, lovely pool! Very clean rooms."

"Electra Palace is just 10 mins from the airport in a cab (13€). It is also about the same distance from Rhodes town. It is a lovely hote
