"Excellent hotel - for a 2 *. All the staff are friendly and helpful. Hotel has its own restaurant open all day apart from 11 till noon - as good as the food in the other restaurants and on your doorstep. Not on the caldera, but a great view of the setting sun every night. 15 mins walk to the beginning of Oia, then about 15 mins to the very end."
Top Tip:
"2 small supermarkets on the fringe of Oia. Cheap & punctual bus service into Thiera, the stop just 30 yards from the hotel. Car hire dropped off/ collected to the hotel if requested. Visit Amoudi bay at the base of the cliffs at Oia - especially when you've got transport!"

"This hotel is different. The rooms are built into the side of a hill and as a consequence you feel as though you are living in a deluxe cave!! The staff were friendly and attentive and the resturant was excellent."

"Oia is a beautiful town built into the side of the volcanic island - It is worth a visit!!"

"The setting is beautiful; the staff are very friendly and helpful; the breakfasts were hearty; the hotel restaurant was by far the best restaurant we ate in all week; all in all a great hotel. The only negative is the basic condition of the bathroom which is very small with a shower hose, but no shower head holder!"

"Armoudi bay in Oia is great for snorkelling and is only 15 minutes drive from the hotel."

"The Hotel itself is situated around a mile and a half away from the main centre of OIA. the hotel is bright clean and airy always cleaned every day and the staf are pleasant and are always on hand and willing to accomadate in any way they can. I would say the hotel is not ideal for those less mobile as lots of walking and steps to get to your rooms. other than that no problems or bad things to say."

"Anememolisis i think this is how u spell the restuarant this is v good food unfortunatley we only found this resturaunt on the last night of the stay . it is cheap around 24 euros for 2 courses inc drinks for 2 people. this resturaunt is situated just on the outskirts of OIA itself..."

"Hotel was a good 15 mins away from Oia. Would have preferred to be in Oia itself.

Lovely studio room - kept nice and clean.

Good food in restaurant.

Staff weren't unfriendly but weren't very friendly either."

"Great location, friendly staff, exceptionally clean.

Room 25 was great, large and very bright.

Try to avoid rooms by pool.

Food was excellent and reasonably priced compared to a lot of resteraunts in oia."

Property Summary

Location

Rooms are decorated in the traditional style of this area with bright white stone washed walls, built in stone bed bases and wooden furniture complemented by pastel coloured soft furnishings. Many rooms also feature the traditional vaulted ceilings of the cave style accommodation of the area. Room facilities include:telephone, air conditioning, refrigerator, hair dryer and private balcony or terrace with sea view

The restaurant is medium to large in size, decorated in traditional style and offers both in and outdoor seating overlooking the sea. The speciality is traditional style local and Greek dishes.

The building is spread out over three levels facing the sea, with the lobby and reception on the top level and the swimming pool on the lower level. It is stone washed white in the style of the area.

This property is great value for money for the area it is in. It boasts a fantastic location overlooking the sea in a calm and relaxing location. Highly recommended (0708/AC)
