"Rooms were only cleaned about every 3/4 days but I wasn't made aware of this until I asked at reception.

They leave you a broom, a bucket and a mop handle but no mop so you can't even clean the floor yourself if you wanted.

Fixtures and fittings were very tired and in need of replacement.

Public areas/pool etc kept clean. Entertainment round the Elite Bar pool from 2-4 was fun without being too loud or giving the feeling that you had to join in.

No way is this worthy of 3 stars"

"The accommodation was tired and need of a revamp. Some fairly simple things could have been done to the apartment which would have made the stay much more pleasant - the kitchen needed a new fridge (it was rusting in places) and the draining cupboard needed replacement (it too was rusting). The bathroom needed a complete refit - however when you got over these things, it wasn't too bad - but below average. The sofa should also have been replaced as it was grotty! No air conditioning and the noisy ceiling fans kept you awake all night. Patio furniture also needed renewing as it was sunbaked and dirty. The pool was also dirty on the bottom, even though it was cleaned each day. Don't swim with your goggles on at the bottom of the pool! - you see all the muck!"

"3rd time stayed here, very good value. Friendly staff, not too busy. Clean, maid service erratic, sheets /towels changed after 3 days, then not for another 7 days.
Commercial Centre near to hotel very run down, many empty units compared to previous visit, but walk into town is OK."

"This has to be the most filthy hotel we have ever stayed in!!!
It was supposed to be self catering but had very few amenities, which included no shelves in grill so unusable, and it was so dirty inside I couldnt have used it anyway!! nothing to hang your wet clothes on, no mop, no bins except a small one in kitching which I had to empty myself as cleaners only showed up on the day before we left to pull our beds up (not made just top cover pulled up to make it look like they'd made it!!) and to give us clean towels which we were desperate for at this point.
Television not working and when my daughter tried to turn it on she got a shock from it!!
Television did get fixed but only two channels in English which were sport and news!!
We had a couch/bed in the living room which we wouldnt sit on as it smelt so bad, ants galore, blood outside on terrace area, chewing gum on tables, toilet seat not attached to toilet.
The place needed to be totally gutted and everthing updated!
Although having said all that the staff were really friendly and helped out as best they could I think even they realised they were fighting a losing battle.
No air conditioning and as no shutters on windows you couldnt even leave your windows open as on ground level.
I would definately not stay at this Hotel again and certainly not recommend it to anyone else.

Luckly we had a very kind neighbour who gave me all her cleaning products that she had brought to clean her own room as it was also extremely dirty, so I was able to have a good clean through myself which helped alot so many thanks to her!!"

"It would be true to say that if we had intented to cook main meals in our apartment, we would have asked to have been moved. The kitchenette was very grubby and this particular apartrment is well overdue for a refurb. The bathroom had had some changes but the bath was unsatisfactory. However, there was plenty of hot water and good pressure. This said we enjoyed our stay and found the location quiet. The pools and facilities were quite satisfactory and staff were friendly and polite. Transfers to and from the location were good. The road train was very useful for getting to the town, harbour and beach."

"Accommodation was very basic and there was never enough hot water for 3 of us to have a hot shower (we took it in turns to have the last (cold) shower!). For a cheap and cheerful holiday, these apartments were OK. They are in a lovely setting surrounded by lovely pool areas and gardens. The Secret Garden and the Elite Bar were closed when we were there in June. It was a quite time, but meant that we felt like we had the complex to ourselves. The Reception staff and staff in the Malibu Bar were very friendly, and overall we had an enjoyable 4 day break."

"We found the staff very friendly and helpful. We did have a problem with a leak in the bathroom, which the plumber was out very quickly. Unfortunately he couldn't fix it straight away, so we were given loads more towels just in case. But the next day the plumber was there again and fixed the leak. Some of the appartments are quite old now and things need replacing. But it was cleaned everyday except Sat, Sun & Wed. For those on a budget its ideal."

"The bungalows were of a surprisingly high quality and comfortable for the price I paid. The resort was of a "no frills" variety but it had all of the basics one needed for the relaxation I was after. There is an element of time share and a salesman knocked on the door once. He left after a few minutes when I explained that I was not interested."

"Weather excellent, complex including pool and local facilities good, accomodation poor. The room was clean and functional but the kitchen area was in a state of disrepair with cupboard door hanging off (repaired by self), cupboard trim hanging off due to steam from badly positioned kettle (repaired by self), sink surround trim in poor condition, Very little water for three people to show forget the bath which again was very old and tired. Wood finish of the whole accomodation was in poor condition either marked or could do with fresh coat of stain. Loose electric wire badly terminated. Otherwise we made sure we got a good tan and had a pleasant time"

"The complex was in the process of being renovated, we stayed in a two bedroom bungalow that had not yet been started and i would describe it as being very tired!
Overall the complex was nice, very good staff in the Elite pool bar."
