"The hotel is in an excellent position between the beach and the town square, with a 30 minute walk to each. It has a nice well-maintained pool area, with bar and restaurant. There's a lot of good taverna / restaurants in Afandou. Our favourites for greek meze style food are Eleni and Mimis. Sergio's is a very good Italian restaurant, open all year and used by locals from all round Rhodes."
Top Tip:
"There's an excellent supermarket / cash & carry "Panayiotas" 10 minutes walk along the main road. It has a huge range of products and is much cheaper than the typical tourist supermarkets."

"HOTEL VERY FREINDLYAND KEPT CLEAN. STAFF FREINDLY AND HELPFUL. WOULD GO BACK AGAIN IN FUTURE. NEED TO WALK FOR ABOUT 15 MINS TO GET INTO TOWN SQUARE BUT THIS WAS NOT A PROBLEM PLENTY BUSES JUST OUTSIDE HOTEL TO TAKE YOU TO PLACES OF INTREST"

"TAKES ABOUT FIFTEEN MINS TO WALK TO BEACH AVOID IN HOT WEATHER. EXCELLENT LARGE SUPERMARKET ABOUT 15 MINS FROM FRONT OF HOTEL WALKING ALONG MAIN ROAD TOWARDS LINDOS DIRECTION"

"Accommodation was clean and value for money. We spent a fortnight here but one week or ten days would have been sufficient. Staying longer than one week it would be best to hire a car to see other parts of Rhodes. July probably too hot for any energetic activity other than walking into Afandou or down to the beach in the evening."
Top Tip:
"Visit to Rhodes town at night is a must either by taxi or bus. Visit to the butterflies is a good half day outing with children who get free admission. "

"Celebrated my wedding at this hotel and it was brilliant. they couldn't do enough for us. All very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Rooms clean, food excellent. Approx 10 mins from beach and local town. Would definately visit again. "
Top Tip:
"all people in afandou very friendly. for a good meal try the four seasons or sergios but for cheap and cheerful try mimis.All well worth the money. All the local beaches are excellent. Afandou beach is beautiful with clear water and not busy. locally, Anthony Quinn Bay and Ladiko Bay are both beautiful coves with clear water to swim in. Well worth a look. Car or moped hire is advisable."

"The hotel was excellent and the staff were very friendly, the rooms were very clean and bedding was changed every two days. The only complaint was the distance to the beach which took 30 mins to walk ,not good in 40 deg heat. But overall would definitely stay there again!"

Set in a rural location surrounded by gardens, the Georgia Studios comprises of two blocks, the original block which is totally renovated for 2007 and contains the 2 bedroom apartments and a second block containing the studios. They are situated around the swimming pool area. Georgia Studios offers comfortable family run accommodation and convenient restaurant facilities.

Accommodation

Studios accommodate 1-2 persons, equipped with twin beds. The apartments accommodate 1-5 persons, equipped with four single beds or one double and two single beds and TV. All apartments and studios are equipped with kitchenette with two cooking rings, fridge and kettle, shower room and balcony or terrace. Late checkout facility is available subject to availability (payable locally).

Food & Beverage

Georgia Studios offers a weekly barbeque with live music and dancing, bar/terrace complete with satellite TV, restaurant and terrace open 08.30 23.30 serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Facilities & Services

Pool table and swimming pool including nearby sun loungers. There is also a courtesy room available for a small charge.

Useful Information on Distances

The complex is located 1.3 km from the beach and the village centre and it is easily accessible by the main road. 100m away from the nearest mini market and approximately 30 minutes drive from the airport. The only golf course in Rhodes is within walking distance.
