"Kelli and the entertainment crew went out of their way to make your stay enjoyable.

All the hotel staff from the reception to Jose in the restauant made the holiday one to remember the prices at the bar were fair in the current economic climate.

As this was our second stay in the hotel we were worried standards would slip on the contrary our room, food and entertainment were first class .

we shall be looking to return at some time in the near future."

"Very low quality food, bland tastless and overcooked.
Entertaimment very poor quality
Pool area filthy, pool full of algae.
Room very basic-first hotel room I have ever stayed in in Spain without a balcony - offered an upgrade- for E400, declined.
Will never use a hotel in this chain again

The hotel is not a 4 star as you advertise, it is a 3 star, by their own advertising"

"The hotel was quite good for us as we were travelling with two small children so there was plenty for them to do. There is a railway line just across the road which could be quite noisy. The check in was a fiasco, we had to wait in a queue for an hour as you couldn't check in until 1pm and then the room still wasn't ready for us until 3pm even though we had been given the key. The room itself was okay but not very big for a family room, unlike other reviews I read before going, the cleanliness could be better or maybe I just have high standards!I would not be happy to have paid the full price that some tour operators charge but as we booked the flights and accomodation separately we paid about 1/3 of the price!"

"Our first time back since 2003, the Hotel has undergone a number of changes including an improved swimming pool and an outdoor area next to both the main bar and the restaurant. The Golden Sun 'Animacion' team are terrific, we all had a fantastic time and will certainly be back next year!"

"We had a wonderful time. The hotel was fantastic and very child friendly. Great entertainment for children and adults. Food great, very good cleanliness. Not much in Pineda De Mar, but good near by resorts.

Will definately book Golden Hotels again. had a fab time.

"Excellent family hotel. Very clean and well maintained. Kid's reps are really good and work very hard to ensure the kid's have fun. Pools are lovely. Food is quite good, typical spanish buffet fare!
Entertainment is very good geared towards children before 10pm and adults afterwards.
Overall a great Hotel for a relaxing family break."

"The Hotel Taurus Park is great. Fantastic hotel, my wife, daughter, son and granddaughter really enjoyed our stay. Not close to much entertainment or many bars, but this was not needed as the hotel provided entertainment during the day and in the evening had professional acts. Very clean and hygenic hotel, maid service daily. All members of staff were very friendly. This was our 8th time at the Hotel Taurus Park, and we shall definitely be returning."

"We've just returned from a week here and, although the weather was awful (!) the hotel itself was really good value. It was absolutely spotless everywhere and all comunal areas were modern, nicely decorated and well maintained (the rooms themselves were a little dated, but were comfortable and always very clean!) The food was always really nice. Lots of choice and was replenished regularly, so it was never cold. There was always a show cooker doing pork, beef, kebabs, etc, as well as the usual buffet stuff and the cakes are to die for!!!
The adult's evening entertainment was actually really good, but the kids entertainment was the same every night and went on waaaay tooooo loooong! 7.30pm till 10.00pm is a bit much!
The beach is peaceful and beautiful and is directly opposite the hotel accross a busy road.
Outside the hotel is a bit basic. There's nothing much in the immediate vacinity. If you wander too far to the right (while facing the beach) you end up in callella - not recommended if you don't fancy shopping in Beruit! This is an extremely dirty, down trodden, horrible place to be. All the buildings are falling to pieces and there's a nasty sewerage smell near the beach front! I wouldn't recommend going there at all! Best to go in the other direction towards Pineda. After about 10 minutes you'll get to a nice little street with some lovely bars and restaurants and the train station at the beach front will take you into Barcelona for about 10 euros return, which is a fabulous day out!
To sum up, the hotel was brilliant, but I've been to much nicer parts of Spain and wouldn't really choose to go back again!"

"entertainers working for the hotel were amazing. Thomsons entertainers were appauling!! they were all minimum size 30. uniforms didnt fit, bellys hanging out. I dont have a problem with big people but their boobs hitting their chins as they dance like roosters around and with the kids isnt very attractive if you know what i mean. waiters had a go at us 4 days in a row as our 14month old child dropped food on the floor. They expect children of all ages to have correct table manners, or they interupt your meal by telling you, each time we walked out still hungry. No childrens food their idea of childrens food is battered cauliflower and pork chops! the zoo in the grounds is disguisting it should be shut. the animals are wild and vicious. Door cards didnt work 6 times then you have to go back down to reception to get them to sort it out, weekends are packed with french and spanish staying the weekind and therefore you have to wait in a queue for your breakfast and tea. Best bits are entertainment and kelly the woman who deals with excursions she was fantastic."
