"Great enjoyable holiday! Fantastic sea views!
Hotel itself was of a high standard and well equipped with friendly approachable staff.
Buffet breakfast and evening meals were excellent with plenty of choice. Everyone will find food they like and certainly will not feel hungry! Would like to go again."

"This is a good hotel with clean, comfortable rooms, a nice pool and great location, very close to the immaculate Cleoptra Beach. And I have to say our holiday was excellent value for money.
The food is of a good standard but some evening meals were better than others. Every night there is a wide salad/mezze starter selection, soup and a choice of hot main courses and cold desserts. The best night is the Turkish night on Thusdays which is served by the pool. There were also fresh grilled Turkish meatballs on Tuesday. Beyond this the food could be a bit predictable so you will probably want to eat out 1 or 2 nights (see below).
We paid a little extra for a sea view and it was well worth it. Only drawback is the loud music til late from the pool bar, and from the hotel next door. On the road side of the hotel however you would get more noise from the busy road.
The evening entertainment was so so. The Turkish dancing was dire but the singing duo were good for that sort of thing. We didn't bother with bingo night.
The hotel's policy of not allowing guests to keep food and drink (even water) in the rooms is annoying but easy to get around so long as you don't leave stuff in the mini-bar or lying around which the cleaner will remove. Local shops sell water at up to a quarter the price of the hotel."

"Very freindly staff.
Excellent evening entertainment.
Would recommend to others."

"Hotel Grand Okan is a superb family run business, close to the Beach and incorporating a Beach Bar and Restaurant. The staff are all courtious and friendly as well as being really helpful."

"Got to hotel with no problems at all. Staff were very friendly and polite .Hotel was very clean and rooms were cleaned every day. Food was good but if you like spicy food take a bottle of chilli sauce as food is very mild. Overall excellent."

"Very good hotel. Only dissappointment was getting twin beds instead of double."

"Very basic for a four star but the location was very good and the staff were pretty helpful so it did the job."

"The hotel is fantastic. The food offered great variety, including Turkish dishes. There was something for every taste! The sweets were unbelievable.........
The entertainment was very enjoyable and was well attended.
Our room was well serviced and the maids were delightful.
All the staff were helpful, friendly and always willing to assist with anything.
A great place to stay. We will return..........."

"A lovely hotel and not too big!! Amanda the Manager is a lovely person and the staff are great. I even managed to get a sunbed every morning as beds were not reserved at 6am which makes a refreshing change. We were on the roadside but after the first night you don't notice it. The food was good and for those who want standard "fish and chips" they don't go abroad. We always found there was something we could eat. Entertainment was put on a few nights a week but there is plenty around also if you want to venture out. The bar staff were entertaining and very happy all of the time and the receptionist ( the blonde lady) was extremely helpful on a few difficult occasions, she changed our room, as our door to the balcony was faulty, the next morning and helped when we had problems with a trip. It is the first time I have been in a pool that has a lovely temperature all day, it may not be big but it is lovely. We had a barbecue each week and the kebab meat and food was lovely. You will get fried egg, pancakes and omelette on a 3 day rota from the chef grill and they are nice. Overall we had a great time and the hotel is kept very clean and tidy."

"Bedrooms a little small but clean and more than adequate.
Pool facilities excellent
Staff excellent
Food very good."

"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff are very friendly and the hotel is in an ideal position."

"I have rated the hotel average because having stayed in many hotels it was a first having to pay extra for the security box in the room and towels for beach use. Also the hotel decor is a little outdated and they could do with a revamp However the hotel was clean and the rooms comfortable. The food was very good and varied and most of the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel location is good as it's very close to the beach and shops."

"excellent location opposite a fantastic beach, hotel was very clean, food was average, drinks very expencive, reception staff very helpful and friendly but waitor service could of been better."

"we came to the hotel last year and this year my parents came as well. They thought the hotel was nice the staff very friendly and nothing was to much trouble and very helpfull. It was there first time in alyanya and they liked it very much and we all hope to come back again very soon"

"It was brilliant, the food was excellent. Some of the waiters spoke english which was a great help. The reception people were friendly and helpful. Would recommend this hotel to everyone.
The negetive factors were that they mixed wine/spirit with one of their main course meal and the pools were not heated (even thoh it was May, the water was freezin!)
Remember to get a room on the 3rd-5th floor for a great sea view. Unfortunately, i was on the first floor and had trees blocking our view."

"booking/checking in was easy. Hotel was great. would stay there again. Great choice if you like turkey meat as it was on the menu everyday.."

"excellent hotel, staff very friendly and helpful.
resort great for us 60 year olds in April wouldn't like the heat and crowds any later."

"Amanda the English Manageress at the Hotel was so friendly and helpful but not intrusive. The Turkish lady Receptionist, Burko was a sweetheart - in fact nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. Towels were changed daily, bedding every two days and during our stay new ortho beds! Food was delicious - English breakfast besides the expected Turkish fare - we didn't have one meal that we didn't like. The Hotel was old but had been refurbished - a bit dog eared in places but it was immaculate. Value for money was excellent."

"Very efficient and clean & excellent value for money. The food is varied and of a good standard for the price paid. I would recommend the hotel for the location and service however, british guests with a typically english food taste may not like the dinner."

"the staff were helpful and pleasant, the food choices plentiful and excellent.
the rooms were a little small but cleaned daily. Our sea view was superb.
Considering we went in what is thier winter thyey still had some free entertainment on. We would go back again. TIP
Take advantage of the happy hours for buying bottled water"

"Considering the high quality of the food in Turkey in general and especially in Alanya, the food in the Hotel was poor."
