  • "Thoroughy enjoyed the hotel, the quality and variety of food was very good, service was excellent, all the staff were exceptionally friendly.
    Close to airport therefore quick transfer but a bit of noise but easily bearable.
    Hotel is in two parts new part is much flatter, that suits oders people, and more open with higher quality rooms.
    Snorkelling from the beach is good."

  • "The hotel was immaculate and the staff were very friendly and attentive without being intrusive. We were there for a week and found that there was enough variety in the restaurants each night that we never got fed up with the selection. We would go past the 'oriental and east' buffet and see what was on offer there, then check what the Italian 3 course menu was like before seeing what was on offer in the main restaurant - then choose our dinner venue for the night. Unlike other all inclusives we have been to there is no need to pre-book a table in the Italian giving you the freedom to decide last minute.
    The shuttle bus into Naama Bay drops you at the other Hilton but its a really short walk into the hub-bub of the main shopping area. Unfortunately you can't use the all inclusive facilities at the other Hilton and have to pay your way there.
    The beach at the hotel isn't a smooth crescent of fine sand - more stepped and artificial with sharp sand but it does the job. Watch if you & your children go paddling in the shallows as we saw a lionfish only a few feet out from shore.
    Snorkeling off the end of the jetty is incredible. We overheard one group saying that they had seen more here than on a trip to the Great Barrier Reef!"

    "I've been in other countries where haggling is the norm and found the amount of 'pestering' we got in Naama Bay mild in comparison. Be poilte and say no thanks and they get the message. If you don't like the hassle from the shops in town, the shopping arcade in the hotel is worth a visit. We didn't find the prices any more expensive than in town and I do like to haggle!!"

  • "Hotel was very clean and great service. Lovely location on Sharks Bay Beach. Snorkelling was fabulous. Ideal for a fairly relaxed holiday."

    "If you do not have a transfer included then e-mail hotel direct for a car to collect you from airport. For £6 you can have a hassle free transfer.

    Use hotel shuttle to check out Naama Bay.

    Snorkelling is a must."

  • "The hotel was very clean and had everything that we needed. I would not recommend for the elderly or disabled as no lifts..Entertainment was poor in the evenings and as nothing outside of the hotel to do in the evenings then it did become a bit boring. The staff at this hotel were amazing and could not do enough for you. The beach was good and snorkelling from the reef from the hotel beach was out out of this world.. food was also pretty good for Egypt, as have been to other hotels in Egypt and the food has always been poor..Would return to this hotel again.."

  • "this was our fourth time at this hotel, but we believe that the standard of food this time was below par.they have a number of new staff,although they we fine the old staff we better, they have just parted company with there animation team and this will be a big loss to this hotel. they are building hsb 2 across the road and is due to open shortly, we went on a tour of the new hotel and it is beautiful and we will most likely be going back to this one. just one thing more hsb 1 the entertainment neeeds to improve a lot, apart from this we still had a good time"

  • "This was our second visit to this hotel and, as the first time, we were made to feel very welcome by all of the staff. We were amazed that they actually remembered us from last year! Yes, really rembered us! The hotel and ground are truly spectacular and spotlessly clean as too are the rooms. Unfortunately the food was not as good as last year. There was still plenty to choose from and we didn't go hungry, however we were told that there is a new chef starting shortly, so things should improve. There are four swimming pools with sunloungers at each one. The beach is man made and you have to go down some quite steep steps to actually get onto it, but to swim amongst the amazing fish and coral is a MUST. There are terraces with umbrellas and sun loungers above the beach that look out over the Red Sea if you choose not to use the beach. The beauty of this hotel is that you don't need to take any towels at all. You collect towels for the pool or beach, which you can change as many time a day as you wish and towels and face clothes are in every room and again can be changed daily, if you wish, when the room is cleaned. This is a really relaxing hotel for all age groups. There is a childrens club for the youngsters plus games and tournaments during the daytime for the adults and evening enterainment at two of the bars. We would really recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a hassle free relaxing holiday. We are returning in March 2009 for the third time as we feel it is such good value for money."

  • "5th time at Hilton Sharks Bay food and drink pretty good plenty of choice went diving with on site dive club(Sinai Dive Club)
    overall enjoyed the holiday only complaint is could do with more out door entertainment in the evenings.However hotel runs a shuttle bus into Narma Bay all day up till about 1am for £3.00 return."

  • "It was fantastic - everything was perfect and the staff very friendly & helpful. We ca't wait to return!!!"

    "My only top tip is if you stay at this hotel to take English Pounds/Euros or U.S Dollars. Tips, trips and shops are all in English Pounds so in effect you get charged in England to change into Egyptian Pounds. One of our trips (which I would recommend) was to fly to Cario and it was £140.00 English Pounds, as we only had Egyptian we ended up paying that plus the exchange rate again. Also at the airport, if you need a visa (only required if you leave Sharm/Trips etc) pay in English as the same thing happens there."

  • "this complex is the cleanest ive ever seen,the staff,and (male maids),are all very friendly,of course they are hoping you will leave a tip,but they are worth it.

    we booked a sea/view,and it was a good choice,fantastic view,and 30 meters from beach and sunset bar.

    the entertainment is the only thing that lets this hotel down,an hour show,african dancers,local dancers,etc.etc,the chillout bar is open till 2am,with some singer,or something.
    all local drinks."

  • "The hotel was fantastic with great facilities and the staff were all very welcoming and lots of fun.

    The evening entertainment provided by the animation team was extremely poor and relied heavily on audience participation and on occassion they were unable to put on any shows due to lack of participation. i would describe it as more suitable for a childrens party, although the traditional Egyption shows earlier in the evenings were quite good."

  • "A nice hotel, but is not 5 star. i am a back-packer and used to hostels, so it was going to be good! BUT! The food was a bit naff, the pool is crumbling a tad, evenings are very quiet!, the geordie manager is the most annoying person i have ever met, the staff sleaze over your female partner, but apart from that, it's a good place. great snorkelling from the beach. if you don't expect luxury, and you won't be disappointed!"
