"If, like us, you enjoy a quiet, relaxing holiday on one of the best beaches in Antigua then this is the place to stay. The hotel is for adults only and the bar and all hotel entertainment closes at 11pm so not a place for the party-goers!! The hotel is remote but there are a few local restaurants. The food in the hotel, as with most all-inclusive packages, was average. We would suggest a room upgrade. Our standard garden (deck) room had seen better days and was very basic with the small bedside table drawer the only drawer space available. The island was plagued by very 'hungry' sand flies (in November) so we would suggest taking a top quality insect repellant."

The Blue Heron Hotel has a range of activities to enjoy on the beach, or you can just laze around the freshwater outdoor pool. Evenings are about good food and Caribbean style entertainment. The Poolside Bar overlooking the sea is perfect for cocktails as the sun goes down, after dinner, the Everglades Lounge is a great place to relax.
