Robert from Manchester reviewed the Coconut Court Beach Hotel
"Staff - their attitude to customers is beyond reproach, they are friendly, polite & helpful at all times.
Older people/those with any kind of mobility difficulties - Not suitable due to the number of steps from the restaurant to the street [about 44] & from the restaurant to the top floor [62], painful for those with arthritis or any form of impaired breathing. Would benefit from having a lift.
Fantastic views & right on the beach which was cleaned every morning.
Entertainment - The 'Managers rum punch' night, the karaoke night, 'Bajun buffet, 'Chinese buffet' all excellent.
All inclusive deals - Menu too limited. Should not have to pay a surcharge for meals that are the same price as those on the 'all inclusive' menu. Should not have to pay a surcharge for the special meals on the entertainment nights or main menu.
Amenities - The pool, cold pool & Jacuzzi are all immaculate however an additional children’s pool would be beneficial.
We were not impressed when we discovered we were charged for local calls from our room having been told by Bajuns that they are not charged for local calls. Our Bajun friends could not believe we were charged for these."

"The service & food at the hotel restaurant is excellent, being all inclusive we never ate anywhere else however people who did, said that it was expensive compared to other places nearby.
Ted's tour is a must to do as soon as you arrive. He provides so much information that we did it twice. His presentation of information & his character are an entertainment in their own right. A day full of laughs, excellent Bajun food, rum punch & fruit punch. It is one of the best ways to see the island for the first time; it gives you loads of ideas on where to go during the rest of your holiday. As Ted says he is going to be your friend & remain so forever, which is just the way he made us feel.
Beware of other tours that use 'Coconut' as part of their name.
Do the 'Heatwave' catamaran trip. The crew are fantastic. All individual characters & entertainers in their own right. Not only do they provide comfortable surrounding, a safe environment & excellent food they give you loads of information about the Turtles, the ship wreck, sea life & the island.
Only use the public buses if you can, even though their drivers seem to have their own rules & speed limits [as do all the other driver on the island] & some certainly exceed the number of passengers allowed they are the most economical & I would say safest form of transport, just be prepared to be a sardine for the duration of your journey [at present the government is proposing changing to the rules relating to the age of the drivers etc. that govern this enterprise] - The private taxis are Ok but expensive, though useful if you are going somewhere special in your best dress & high heels. The private buses are too loud, overcrowded, often dirty & expensive.
Use loads of sunscreen even during the rainy season.
Be prepared for the humidity.
Take a brolly or light weight water proof cover if going in the rainy season."

"The Coconut Court Beach Hotel was absoloutely fantastic! The staff were amazing and the food was goergous. I think that we were actually upgraded to a Studio room and the veiw was breathtakingly amazing. The hotel is right on a beach with beautiful white sand and blue seas and skys it was the view from our room that left us speechless everytime we came back in. Entertainment and restaurants was just walking distance from the hotel and the staff was always there to give you a selection on what there was to do and eat and were always up for just a good chat and laugh. It had a very homely feel and the concierge was very helpful. I would definately reccommend this hotel to anyone you would never believe it was only a 3star hotel. Thank you Coconut Court for the amazing stay."

The Boat Yard has loads of water activities like jet skiing, catamarans, water skiing and all sorts. And you have to go to Cave Shepard to buy alcohol and ciggerates DUTY FREE Yeah Baby! "

"Large clean simply furnished room with king size cumfortable bed. Ironing board, iron, kettle, fridge, microwave and toaster included. Bathroom equiped with hair-drier but shampoo not provided with I thought was bad in a fully inclusive rate. The fully inclusive package (inc alcholic drinks) was good but menu limited which would be a problem if staying longer than the 3 days we stayed. It was also a bit petty in the restrictions of what was & wasn't included eg a lime daiquiri was included a strawberry daiquiri was not even though they were the same price on the cocktail menu, also some dishes had a supplement. Overall good value, great staff and beach. "
