Jean from Tonbridge reviewed the Clarion Collection Twentyseven Hotel
"Staff were very friendly and the room was clean and of contemporary design, sharp lines and wood floor. bed was great, fabulous pillows and duvet, very snuggly! Bathroom was very clean and the shower good. Although the room was small, it was more than adequate for 2 people with their luggage for a 4-7 night stay Breakfast selection was fine and the free light evening buffet was an added bonus, it saved us a lot of money on eating out. Having a free in room safe was also a money saver. The bar area was very relaxing and the mood music low enough to have a conversation."
Top Tip:
"Cafe Norden - a short 5-7 min walk towards the main hub of shopping. Sit upstairs, they have more comfortable seating but although the prices may look high, you get value for money. The portions are enormous. Cahe Nazazza - again just a few paces for the above Cafe in the main Stroget shopping street. The Hot Chocolate is to die for. They put lumps of chocolate in the bottom of the glass and then fill it with hot milk and top it with cream. You can then mix it up!! The cafe also does extremely good food choices as well as having gift items to buy around the walls."

Steven from London reviewed the Clarion Collection Twentyseven Hotel
"Clean and modern. Reception staff were a little prickly though, and should relax a bit. Boutique doesn't mean snotty, remember. Rooms, whilst fine, were a little sparse in terms of decoration. For a "design" hotel, there was very little in the way of design, and it made it feel a little on the side of Ibis, rather than boutique. Clean, comfortable and modern though, and the food was perfectly adequate. Advise reconfirming the room type though, as we got a twin when we'd booked a double."
Top Tip:
"Good location. Next to icebar if that's your thing."

Property Summary
Location
All rooms are totally renovated from top to bottom in a contemporary fashion with the emphasis on stylish Scandinavian inspired designer furniture, fabrics and art work. They are medium in size, although there is good use of clever furniture ideas which maximizes the available space, thus making all rooms feel extremely comfortable and spacious. Bathrooms are stylish and modern combining white chrome bathroom fixtures with frosted glass walls and black slate flooring.
The restaurant is located on the ground floor and serves an extensive buffet breakfast and also a complimentary evening buffet with some light dishes, salads, fruit etc. In connection to the Hotel Twentyseven you will also find the Absolut Vodka IceBar, which is a cool experience that can't be missed!
The hotel is located in a traditional 6 storey building, typical of the city centre. However, since the renovation the exterior has undergone huge transformation to now reflect a modern designer building with smooth cream walls, huge glass windows, and balconies. During the evenings a range of colours emit from numerous windows across the facade.
The Hotel Twentyseven is branded as Copenhagen's first lifestyle hotel with the motto ”the coolest place in town” combining contemporary design, attitude and urban adventure. Not a choice for the traveler who prefers traditional style hotels!
A high quality hotel with perfect location close to all points of interest in Copenhagen. (01/08MK)
