El Nogal is the definitive Canarian get away from it all hotel, rebuilt from an 18th Century family mansion. Today, its current owners, the Linares family, have managed to combine the cute and comfortable rooms with a wide range of tasteful facilities – the results – something special with a wonderfully relaxing holiday atmosphere. The hotels location on the foothills of Mount Teide offers spectacular views over the neighbouring island of La Gomera and out to sea.

Accommodation

The hotel has 29 standard double rooms, 11 superior rooms and a suite. All are equipped with telephone, satellite TV, mini bar (at a charge), air conditioning or heating, piped music, and full bathroom. Guests in superior rooms have the added benefit of bathrobes and a hairdryer in the bathroom. The rooms are cleaned daily, towels changed daily and bed linen twice per week. Cots and extra beds are available upon request.

Food & Beverage

With a Canarian and local chef in its kitchens it’s hardly surprising that the El Nogal restaurant is very popular with the locals. On the menu for lunch and dinner you will find a variety of Spanish tapas, local dishes and international cuisine, while breakfast is a much more intimate affair with a small hot and cold buffet in the breakfast room.

The hotels location in Vilaflor, considered to be the highest village in Spain, gives the swimming pool and sun deck one of the most impressive views in the Country, and is a wonderful place to relax and take in the sun. The hotels gardens, nature trails and orchard combined with the fresh forest air and peaceful surroundings are excellent places for a spot of quiet contemplation to relax the mind while hotels spa will relax the body. The Spa boasts an indoor swimming pool, two sauna cabins, a Turkish bath, cold water well, hydro massage bath, Pediluvium and relaxation room as well as a massage service. Car hire is highly recommended for this hotel as its peace and quiet means its location is not served by public transport.
