"The hotel is located in the best part of Antalya in the old town. The staff were very courteous, friendly and helpful."

"The hotel was in a nice historic bulding right in the middle of the harbour. The rooms were comfortable but the bathroom was tatty and in need of an update. We didnt think it was of a 4 star quality.
The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice, but the evening meal on the half-board package was not to a very good standard with no alternative choices. We would of probably been better going B&B and eating out at the local bars. The drinks were expensive around the harbour area of Antalya with a beer being the equivalent of about £ 2.50 and wine and cocktails were equivalent to London prices.
The hotel had nice patio areas but the swimming pool and sunbeds were in the shade most of the day, this may be an asset in high summer but not in October."

"What a find. a fabulous boutique style hotel. The courtyard and its lovely swimming pool with lighting and stylish furniture give you the feeling you are in a morrocon/turkish riad.
friendly staff and spoke good english.
Great location to walk the old town of Kaleichi and its famous marina/harbour"

"Good clean comfortable hotel, rooms a little on small side but adequate, breakfast excellent, even honey on a honeycomb rack on the buffet.
Staff very competent, though a little stiff. Good position for Old Town and quiet.
Room 133 has a view over the harbour and I think looking at the hotel this may be the only one. Others tend to look over courtyard and pool. Large pool very clean and cool after the heat of the Old Town. Beach at Mermali Restaurant very good and although you pay 8 lira per person to use it its well worth it, loads of beds, clear water and very clean. Antalya Old Town quite expensive to eat and drink we were suprised how much prices have risen in Turkey, and would probably consider all-inclusive next time, although we prefer the choice to sample the life outside the hotels. Few English, mostly Americans on tours, Dutch, German, few Russians. Very good atmosphere everyone friendly."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. We have written to you explaining our only concern... You will receive this letter soon and we would appreciate a reply."

"Hotel very clean. Breakfast brilliant but room was too small and dark. Staff very helpful"

"Very clean pleasant room, food excellent. Pool clean and plenty of sun loungers, towels etc."

"We visited in late March 2008 at the begining of the season when the hotel was only just opening up - only about 12 residents. There was still some maintenance going on (painting etc) and the pool didn't get filled up until the end of the week, but hotel was nevertheless very good value for money and the food and service excellent. The location is superb with views over the old harbour to the mountains beyond - right in the centre of the old town with numerous eating and drinking opportunities, but not at all noisy (apart from the call to prayer from the local mosque). Loads of interesting architecture Ottoman, Roman and later Greek. The City is surprisingly clean (including loads of public toilets) and the locals very friendly, if a little pushy at times
Only down side is that all the pedestrianised streeets in the old town are being repaved and it will be some time before it's completely finished. On arrival the road outside the hotel was non existent but concreted by the end of the week. When it's all finished it will be superb."

"Marina Residence Hotel was a well run & friendly with efficient staff throughout. The food in the restuarant was excellent and I must comment on this area in particular.
I stayed on half board terms and the variety of breakfast items (which included honey which was still on the beehive rack!) was first class. The evening meals were of four courses and no course was repeated during my stay. The cooking and presentation achieved by the chef(s) were of a very high standard indeed and we always looked forward to meal times knowing we were in for a treat.
The hotel reception staff were very helpful and always willing to sort out any problem I had. In particular there was a young man called Deniz who was friendly, helpful and sociable despite the long hours he needed to work.
The only criticism I would have is not directly involved with the hotel's facilities or personnel, it is the hotel's location. Having a hire car, It took me 3½ hours to find the hotel on arrival (which is in the old town down by the harbour) and even then I had to engage the services of a taxi and follow him to the harbour area. All other guests had the same problem. The cause of this is the generally bad infrastructure which exists in Antalya and is therefore not the fault of the hotel. However, it took me 7 attempts to find the hotel unaided and I would therefore recommend that a hire car is not advisable when staying at the Marina Residence."

"The location was great, but the room was rather cramped. It wasn't easy to get service at the bar during the day and the pool area was very limited with only 3 beds in the sun, on average. Otherwise the service was fine, and it was generally a pleasant experience to stay there."
