"Beautiful studio apartment, comfortable clean accommodation and a lovely hotel complex. Lovely pool area and helpful reception. Shingle beach, beautiful clear sea, local bars and shops only 5 minutes away."
Top Tip:
"If taking public transport be warned that the bus from Thessaloniki to Hanioti takes three hours! So if using it as transport to the airport (as it only costs 20Euros for two people, opposed to 80Euros in a taxi) allow plenty of time.
The Petralona caves are worth a visit - although it takes abou 45minutes each way from Hanioti.
If you get fed up with Greek food - have a meal at the Indian (off the main square) you cant miss it - its the only one in the village! Great food and reasonably priced.
For Greek food - try the roof top rsteraunt - delicious!
The bakery on the main road - Lemoni - does great ice cream for only one euro and lovely pasteries as well."

"We thought the hotel was fantastic, great location right on the beach and a 5 minute walk from the main square. The one part of the hotel is only 12 months old so as you can imagine it is in great condition."
Top Tip:
"We did not find one bad restaurant, on the other hand there were no outstanding ones either. Other than the kebab establishments all the restaurants seem to be around mid standard."

"Lots of nice restaurants within 10 minute walk. Beach near beach quite shingly but beach shoes are on sale in all shops and these really helped the feet."

"Before I booked this hotel, I only saw 1 negative comment on this site and that was from someone whose family had been put into a studio instead of an apartment for the first night or 2. Guess what happened to us ? Apparently there was a problem with one of the rooms, but maybe it was a problem caused by deliberately over booking ? Seems a bit of a coincidence to me.....Anyway, whatever caused it, they dealt with it in a friendly professional manner and after the first night gave us what they described as a suite for the rest of the week. It was clean and tidy, kitchen area was basic but did the job, only minor criticism was that there was no air-con in the bedroom, just in the main room.
The only thing stopping this place being almost perfect was the beach. Location wise, being right on the beach with a decent sized pool in a fairly quiet area just 5 minutes walk from the main town sounds ideal, however the beach itself is very pebbly and the sea is very rocky, not ideal for small kids. But there are other much nicer sandy beaches within a short drive if you want to travel.
Overall a very nice place, good location, suitable for families, would return to the area, but maybe look for somewhere on a sandy beach instead - being brought up on holidays in Devon & Cornwall has obviously spoilt me when it comes to golden sand !"

"Dyonisis Restaurant - 6 visits it was so good!

Use Bros Travel in the town square to book excursions/trips - far cheaper than any tour operators at the hotel for the same deal!"

"This hotel was a complete find! We had a wonderful time here. The studio was huge and could easily have fitted 4 people in it and it was well maintained and very clean. The grounds were really nice and the pools lovely. All the staff were fantastic. The only minot thing was the pool has deck chairs instead of sunbeds, great for sunning your front impossible to do your back. They do offer beds on the beach though!"

"Affros bar, great music in cool surroundings."

"WE FOUND THAT THERE WAS A LACK OF INFORMATION IN HOTEL RECEPTION ON OUTINGS AND BUS ROUTES AND TIMETABLES.
THE BAR STAFF IN THE BEACH BAR WERE EXCELLENT AND VERY FRIENDLY. ROOM WAS VERY CLEAN"

"When we arrived we were welcomed by name by the receptionist - a nice touch. Then she took us just over the road to our room. We had booked a one bedroom appartment for myself, husband and 14 yr old son but the hotel had reserved a studio. When we pointed this out the receptionist was very apologetic and said that we should speak to the manager when she comes back on duty later that day.
when we spoke to the manager she also was apologetic and admitted that the mistake was theirs but wouldn't be able to get us an apartment for 2 days - she did arrange for us to have free air con and a safety deposit box free thoughout our stay as a means of compensation and we moved into our apartment at midday on day 3 of our holiday as promised. the customer service was excellent. The hotel was very clean, well equiped and comfortable. I would recommend it."

"Hotel/apartment was good although a bit cramped with 4 people staying. Pool was good and being near the beach was very good giving you the choice of either.
Only let down we felt was the standard change of towels etc - could have been more often.

Its a picturesque village with beautiful parks full of trees and flowers, paved streets and a wonderful sandy beach with crystal clear aquamarine waters; it is a perfect choice for those who love to combine the magnificent Greek sea and the beautiful Macedonian nature.

Accommodation

The complex provides all its guests with comfortable accommodation, which includes studios, apartments. All room types are equipped with kitchen, bathroom, hairdryer, air condition and balcony or terrace.

Food & Beverage

The seaside bar is situated next to the beach, serving fresh juices, light snacks and refreshing cocktails. The pool bar also offers all guests fresh juices and light snacks. Barbeque nights are organised by the hotel, with music, Greek delicacies and lots of fun.
