very clean rooms
being going for over 15 years so pretty much know where everything is
All the bathrooms have been refurbished since last year and are beautifully done. All staff were very helpful and courteous. The maids were a joy. Everything was fine. The only suggestion would be to have more and brighter lights in the dining area when the evenings are dark. It was only dimly lit.
The beach is very close to the hotel where Ibrahim keeps a very clean beach and gives very good service as and when you would like it without hassle.
ideal for a no fuss relaxing holiday
no
we did not stay in the hotel as the room was below ground, no balcony, and a tiny window above the bed that when opened all you couls see were peoples feet walking past. Beware that you have booked a room with a balcony and NOT a promo room
Unfortunately had booked us into only one twin room so moved one of us into a single room which was small and inadequate. However I was moved to another room when one became available.
Everything about Icmeler is good
the staff in the hotel were very friendly and helpful, and the hotel overall was very clean, food and entertainment was good and the maid service was excellent. the hotel was situated in a relevant place close to beach, bars and shopping areas.
the beach was only 5 minutes away excellent location near to 2 restaurants that we really liked.
Basic but clean! Air conditioning was free and the hotel is very close to the beach and restaurant. Everything you need in that resort!
This hotel is situated near shops and restuarants and is a short walk to the beach. Its location can mean that it is noisy at night; although music stops at midnight in Icmeler the traffic can be noisy. The air conditionaing is excellent meaning we were nice and cool at night (in August!). Breakfast was good with a wonderful chef cooking great omlettes pancakes etc for you. Cant comment on other meals as we ate elsewhere. Rooms were kept clean with fresh towels everyday. Most staff very friendly.
The Cocoa Beach bar is excellent both for lunch and evening meals. The Romeo and Juliet Bar next door is excellent for a friendly welcome football pool etc.,
Hotel was basic and well maintained, however, the room we were given was dreadful. It was below ground level with a small window at ground level with no view, and very little natural light. It was very very very noisy with loud music from the neighbouring night club which made sleeping before the hour of midnight impossible!!!! The pool was probably the best feature of the hotel, very clean and plenty of sunbeds to use.
Our room was fairly basic as we had expected. The cleaning ladies were excellent and changed the towels every day. Hotel was a bit noisey from people coming in late or getting up early. Lots of door banging which was annoying. Bar a bit too close to the rooms so could mean not much sleep for some people (we were not affected). The lady on reception was like Hitler and told us we needed to change room after one day. We refused. We won! Bar staff and other hotel staff were generally very pleasant. We had a small leak in the bathroom which was not fixed whilst we were there. Overall we got what we paid for. Hotel was just a bit too busy for our liking but otherwise it was fine
Artemis restaurant and Mr Turbo the genial host - We enjoyed eating and drinking at Artemis a lot.
Also Friends restuarant does an excellent Sunday roast dinner if you ever have a craving!
The Stella show is definitely worth going to!!
hotel and staff very good as usual no complaints resort has so many good food restaurants you could try a different one every night and not be dissatisfied
very clean and extremely friendly staff
Ate at different place every day and did not have a bad meal at any of them, including our hotel.
Also situated in a pleasant central area.
Cant fault the hotel in general, all the staff were very friendly. The only downside was our room which was on the fourth floor with 55 steps and the room was very small compared to the others.
Met several couples who have been visiting the Navy hotel for the past five years which speaks volumes for the hotel.
Good food at most of the restaurants, we thought the best was the "Love Boat" and the "Chef".
The "friends" bar was great for 60s-70s and 80s music.
The Stella show is a must, first class entertainment.
The Navy hotel was a very nice hotel.
Lots of great restaurants nearby
did not know the hotel was split into two halves one with a lift one without unfortunatley we had no lift to our side. the room was in the roof we had to climb 55 steps to our room and at 60 years of age was a struggle.
yes a cafe called the erdem lots of english people go there for lunch and a drink and it was a last call for a drink and a chat with some very friendly people.
hotel clean and basic staff adequate,if you were spending alot of money at the hotel bar however staff were fantastic . one day a wine and soda would cost 8 lira the next 9 lira and so on ,also when we settled the bar bill drinks had strangley appeared, having never drank gin and tonic in my life i found this unusual. icmeler is a great rsort with something for everyone ,food in general is superb and people in general are great .
the venice bar is professionally run food is superb staff friendly BUT NOT PUSHY bills are always spot on no mysterious extras added on.the love boat is also very well run and food excellent
Staff very friendly and helpful, although there is a price for everything.
Room small and compact but clean. Bathroom again small and compact but shower very powerful (no Bath).
Restaurant had limited choice, but what was on offer was good quality food.
Most restaurants around the hotel are much the same both for price and quality.
Use the local (Dolmus) mini bus to go to the larger resort of Marmaris, they cost only 2 Turkish Lira which is less than a £1 and you can get on and get off anywhere along the route from Icmeler.
we stayed at the hotel navy for the 1st time in october for a week we found the hotel was very clean and tidy the staff was very friendly and always there to help the room was cleaned everyday and i would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a central hotel the bar staff was exellent and looked after everyone and nothing was too much trouble for them and we have already booked again for may and august 2009 with travel republic to go back to this hotel
taj mahal indian resturant was 2 min walk away the best indian curry ive tasted in a long time expensive but a must and green house jewellery in the square gives the best price and no hassle couldnt do enough for you
