"When we arrived at the hotel reception told us the hotel was booked and we had to go to the sister hotel across the road Novotel Palms. I had read similiar reviews where this had happened to other people I was not happy. My boyfriend insisted we had booked to stay in Novotel beach and we were not moving. They left us for 5 mins and then came back saying they had found a room. The rooms are nice the bed was huge. The maids came every day however, they never changed the bed covers whilst we were there for the whole week. The hotel is more suitable for families and couples ] looking for a getaway. The evening entertainment was poor.
Good location on the beach front and approximately 10 mins walk to shops and restaurants. Staff are friendly. Wide choice for breakfast the menu never changed it got a bit boring after the first 3 days.
Overall the hotel was nice and I would stay there again."
Top Tip:
"Tip - If you plan on going to Old Market a taxi from the hotel should only cost 20 Egyptian pounds. Confirm the price before you get into the cab. They will try and charge you 65EP. Tell them you only paying 20. "

"We had a really good sized room, balcony with sunbeds, great bathroom with walk in shower. The room was cleaned every day. The food and facilities were excellent and the staff were really courteous and friendly. "

"Shark's Bay is a good beach with shops and cafes. "

"we stayed in the Palm hotel accross the busy road from the beach it was excellent a newly built hotel so everything was new, lovely rooms, great food but pricey on the drinks good kids club for the children and smashing pools which were quiet no rushing for the sunbeds on a morning, staff helpful and friendly all in all a great stay"

"Hotel was wonderful and suprisingly quiet, (only 8-10 people around each of the pools. Please make which side of the main road in Sharm the hotel is situated more clear on the travel information prior to booking."
