"not suitable for old people as the hotel is up a rather steep hill, the rooms are good and cleaned daily, a good selection of main meals but the food is spanish, about 20mins walk to where all the main entertainment is but overall a nice hotel..."

"palm beach is a fantastic hotel ..spotlessly clean all over..staff are extremely friendly...food is faultless ..although situated on a hill its possible to walk to beach and shops and restaurants...if you dont fancy strolling the hotel provide a free bus service to beach or town centre ....

"stayed in hotel last year and would say food was better on last visit although plenty choice.reception and restaurant staff very friendly.would not recommend for older folk as unless getting bus the hill climb would not be suitable.
ON THE DOWN SIDE - The day before leaving my room mate discovered about £35 missing from a compartment of his case but did,nt report it(which he should have) or mention it to anyone else in our party.On the morning of leaving i chapped door of others in party to be told that one of them had £20 missing and again from zipped compartment of case,he reported to reception who advised that the police would have to called.There was absolutely no point as we were just leaving,so left a very bad taste after having a great holiday."

"Would have no problem returning to this hotel..
Room not to spacious but comfortable,Maid service everyday..No complaints about food..
Only downside was the walk back up the hill in the evening,,but needed the excersise anyway to burn off all the good food..

6th time in Beni,,,best hotel yet."

"This hotel is great !! food was excellent & the duration of the meal sittings was brilliant !! breakfast served till 11 am (ideal for those who've had a late one the night before !!) I've just come back from this hotel & can't fault it, one thing I think that is worth pointing out is that getting to the hotel from the main town is up quite a steep hill & could be a struggle for those less able, there is however a free Hotel bus service that runs quite regular."

"Excellent hotel. Would thoroughly recommend it.

The only downside is the walk to the beach however with the regular shuttle bus this isn't a probem. It is uphill back to the restaurant however if you zig zag back up the streets it isn't too bad.

Food in the hotel is good. I'm a fussy eater but always found something to eat. Breakfasts are the best.

There is a mixture of clientele at the hotel, nationality wise, but in Spain you would expect to find Spanish people. However we found both guests and staff to be very friendly and the reception helpful.

Hotel entertainment isn't up to much but if you catch the last shuttle bus at 9:30 there is plenty of entertainment in the resort itself."

"I would not return to this hotel as it is at the top of a very steep hill.
Also rooms and facilities are nowhere near four star.
I also had my watch stolen from the by the maid. Complained to reception but no help or assistance given.

"This is the second time at the Palm Beach will certainly not be the last. The hotel is excellent and the entertainment superb. Although up a hill, plenty of free buses to the beach and old town. The reception staff are particularly helpful and the rooms are kept clean and tidy with lovely white towels every day. Will be returning sooner rather than later."

"although the hotel was great I would not recomend the transfer company as they refused to pick up from our hotel for the return trip. Walking over two hundred meters with baggage is not for the faint hearted. Older guests would not have managed it."
