"Very helpful receptionist, but the other receptionist was the opposite. The hotel was in an excellent location and very convenient for local eateries and pubs etc.

We would definitately return to the hotel, but hopefully the room will have been updated. The bathroom was great and looked as if it had been updated."

"McKierneys Irish Pub - fantastic people, great food, great atmosphere, lovely landlady/owner. Very smokey though!"

"near to old town and close to rail and bus station,good cheap train service to barcelonna and figures.Gerona is a lovely town,this hotel is very comfortable but a little expensive there is no bar or restaurant."

"Hotel location better than I had hoped for. Only over the bridge to the Old City of Girona.

Traffic noise but this seems the same in any major city if you leave the window open."
Top Tip:
"A very good Chinese restaurant. Buffet style for 7.50 euros each.
An Argentinian style restaurant. Good value but enourmous platefulls."

"Hotel very clean, staff friendly and helpful. Room also very clean but bed a bit hard for us. Had amusing experience while waiting for late flight back home when the lights in the lavatory in the basement went out because they are on a timer and I'd paid no attention to the layout in the ladies so couldn't find the door. Thanks Travel Republic for once again providing a good hotel in an ideal location"

"I have already recommended this hotel to friends as it was extremely clean, staff were very helpful and friendly, and breakfast was beautifully presented with the emphasis on hygene. It was situated near all of the historical sights and I would certainly return in the future."
