"hotel was pleasant but was situated in a very quiet area, although beach is close to hotel you do have to go under a sub-way which has quite a few steps.this wouldn't be a problem to able bodied people but the disabled should be aware. I am disabled myself and although the area is otherwise flat this along with boarding the train was difficult ."

"Good Hotel and very clean. Swimming pool small and cold, as no sun around pool area until afternoon. However, beach at front of hotel so can go there for the morning. Limited facilities, but great location for a quick week away. Hotel geared towards Spanish and hardly any English tourists stayed here. This made the food more authentic, rather than the usual buffet which is geared towards the English."
Top Tip:
"If you arrange a transfer do not use Perla Tours. We waited 2 hours for our bus on arrival and then it took 2 more hours to get to our hotel after 12 drop offs. It was the same on the way back, we were picked up at 2.45am for a 7.40am flight. A taxi costs 50 euros each way and to be honest, this works out only a about 20euros more than we paid for that awful bus transfer. "The staff were great. The evening meals were good. We especially liked the pork kidneys and the battered squid rings. But there was a choice of 5 or 6 main dishes, so you could have had food that was less spanish if you'd wanted."

"The only issue was that the swimming pool was too small for the size of the hotel and had looked much larger in the photos. The pool area was also very enclosed by the surrounding buildings with no outlook. As a result the pool was in the shade all morning and was not really usable until mid afternoon each day."

"The hotel was in a central position, close to the beach, bars and restaurants.
Pineda de Mar is a very quiet family resort, no discos, which was just what we were looking for. Hotel had entertainment in the evening, which our son enjoyed.
