Flying to Alicante (Costa Blanca)
Fly to Alicante, in the heart of the wonderful Costa Blanca, and you will find a superb city graced by a wide range of beautiful sandy beaches, all with a high standard of cleanliness. Wonderful panoramic views over Alicante can be had by climbing to the summit of Mount Benacantil where the Castlillo Santa Barbarbara commands the city.
The city is surprisingly compact making it easy to explore its markets and shops – the leather goods are a speciality and make particularly good souvenirs of your Spanish holiday. You will certainly enjoy eating out here too. Alicante is well provided for by fine restaurants, with many serving traditional Spanish food; whilst it is not difficult to find bars and cafes throughout the town serving an international cuisine ranging from French, Chinese and Indian to Moroccan.
Apart from the opportunity for great swimming on the magnificent golden beaches, there are many places to visit nearby, such as the prehistoric caves of Cuevas del Canelobre and Cuevas de Calaveres. With casinos close by, and two safari parks within easy driving distance of the town the holiday maker to Alicante will not be short of activities to keep them occupied at this deservedly popular destination.

“ Excellent position for everything, very clean even though our room was overlooked on one day, but soon corrected after a word at reception. Very friendly and helpful staff. My critiscm would be insufficient choice of vegetables at dinner, and food did not appear to be kept at hot enough temperatur.
