The ancient city of Murcia has been well described as one of the most historic and beautiful in all Spain. It stands on the banks of the River Seguro and enjoys all year round sunshine. It boasts the highest temperatures in the region. There is much evidence of the Moorish influence on the city, not least in the impressive city walls. After the reconquest in 1492, the many mosques in the city were turned into churches. The wonderful Cathedral is the most highly prized building in Murcia, its first foundation stone having been laid in 1388. It took nearly four centuries to complete the building and as a consequence there are many different styles within its walls, including 22 different chapels!

This air-conditioned building comprises a 24-hour reception, safe, currency exchange desk, cloakroom, lift and cafe. There is also a bar and an air-conditioned restaurant available for use. Business guests may find the conference room and public Internet terminal of interest. Those arriving by car may take advantage of the car park. Laundry, room and medical services round off the facilities on offer.

Built in 2002, this fully air-conditioned hotel comprises a total of 105 rooms spread over 8 floors. Guests have access to a fabulous pool and garden complex and may make use of the spacious foyer with lifts, hire safes and a 24-hour reception desk. There is also a cafe, a cosy bar and an air-conditioned restaurant with highchairs for infants to be found within the hotel. Business guests may make use of the various conference rooms and there is also an in-house laundry service to be taken advantage of. Parking facilities are available to those arriving by car (additional fees apply) and there is also a bicycle hire service.
