GORGONIA APARTMENTS, our residence is built directly at the sea, in the Northern part of the virgin Croatian island Dugi otok, in the village of Verunic, reachable by car-ferry from the city of Zadar in 80 minutes. Low cost flights Ryainair directly to Zadar. The house is situated in a quiet position and surrounded by pine trees. The sandy beach Saharun (one of the most beautiful of the Adriatic sea) is not far from the house. There are several other charming beaches (like the area of the lighthouse) which are reachable in few minutes by car or boat. It is still a undiscovered place, where time has stopped, ideal for who likes swimming, snorkelling, walking, fishing, relaxing and riding a bike. Behind the house there is a good furnished food market and restaurants with typical Dalmatian cuisine are near by. Zaton Holiday Resort is located only 70m from the beach and 16km from Zadar. The hotel amenities include restaurants, bar, swimming pool and childrenand's pool. The apartments feature a air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone, safe box (extra charge), kitchenette, hairdryer, Internet access and balcony/terrace.
“ just be aware of season end, we got there at season end and everything closed major early..12 midnight on the saturday and 10pm weekdays. You would need transport to travel outside of the resort, preferably a hire car.

“ We stayed at the Luna for 7 nights during October 2011, the hotel was very nice, rooms were clean and bathroom was very pleasant. The rooms Air-con is set by the hotel and our room was very hot, having to leave the window open all night to get it to a comfortable level to be able to sleep (thus letting some gnats in and being bitten several times).
