“ The hotel is extremely good value for money. Cuba is not a cheap place to holiday, buying meals out can cost a lot and so the all inclusive option in this hotel is great! They use Havana Club rum in their fabulous cocktails.

The hotel was completely renovated in 2005. The all-inclusive resort is surrounded by lush tropical gardens and includes 255 rooms over 7 floors, of which 8 are suites. Facilities includes a terrace, a lobby with a 24-hour reception, a currency exchange, a hotel safe and a lift. Further facilities include a café, a kiosk, a bar, a nightclub, a TV room, a restaurant and Internet access. A laundry service is also available and younger guests are offered a kids club as well as a playground. Bike rental and a car park also feature within the hotel. Complimentary: Bus service to the harbour. The rooms include an en suite bathroom with a hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, satellite TV, a small fridge, a double or twin bed, a hire safe (in the room) and air conditioning. All the rooms feature a balcony, offering a stunning view of the ocean or the lush tropical garden.

“ First, this hotel isn't four or five star, so don't expect it to be! However, we did have a comfortable stay. The room was very basic - twin beds (altho we asked for a double!), TV with Chinese, Spanish and Canadian TV, decent bathroom, and an air con unit that was noisy due to being dripped on from the one above (by the looks of it, a problem with many of the rooms).

“ If you are going to Varedero and THINKING of the Blau Hotel ?? Dont .. Dont think about it , Just Go . Book it . We spent one week there 27/9/-04/10/11 and it was fantastic. I have to say it was amazing.
