“ Our first visit January 2012 - the hotel was recommended and it completley fulfilled our expectations. The room was spacious with lovely side sea view from the balcony which was furnished with table and chairs; very clean and comfortable, tv, DVD palyer, mini fridge for our own drinks complete with a range of glasses, T & C making facility re-stocked each day.

“ This is a very well-run hotel. The staff are all very efficient, helpful and friendly. The hotel location is ideal as it is right on the sea and also has easy access on foot to a large number restaurants in the old town.

The hotel has much to offer including 3 bars, 2 restaurants, spa Satsanga with indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a fitness room, Jacuzzi, Turkish baths (these are chargeable locally and rates include use of a towel) and a children's mini club. All bedrooms are fully equipped with modern amenities including, safe, satellite TV, DVD player, air-conditioning, telephone and private balcony.
“ Very nice hotel. Very clean and staff very helpful. We asked to change the room we had been given for a room with a better view and this was provided with no issues. however no kettle to make tea or coffee in room.

“ The staff at this hotel are so friendly and helpful, they cannot do enough for you. The studio this time was getting rather shabby in places although in the past it has been excellent. I will certainly stay here again next year if possible. Lovely location right on the seafront and near lots of restaurants and only 30 mins walk into Funchal at a steady pace. Supermarket directly across the road.
