Guests to the Happy Hotel can enjoy Kalamar Beach by taking a steep walk downhill through the sunbathing platforms set into the rocks with sea access. Dalaman International Airport is 130 km from the hotel. Local Tips: Kalkan Village has a beautiful backdrop of the Taurus Mountains with a quaint historic harbour famous for its fresh fish. There is also a selection of specialty shops selling jewellery, crafts and clothes. A Dolmus (buses) service runs on a regular basis to the towns of Kas and Fethiye. “ hotel was 25 minutes walk from the centre and would be difficult for peolpe with reduced mobility. The breakfast was good. The room was spacious, linen is in need of a replacement, bed linen and towels were off white and were on occassions delivered damp.

“ We enjoyed our stay in a two bed apartment with balcony (partial sea view). The facilities were generally good although a microwave or oven would have given better options for cooking in. The hotel staff were pleasant and helpful and the complex was kept very clean and tidy.

“ Hotel staff were delightful and more than helpful - nothing was too much trouble. Excellent breakfast and lunches available at beach bar/hotel restaurant - very relaxing. All areas kept spotlessly clean - will certainly return to repeat the experience!

The hotel is built around an oasis of gardens with a large pool, crossed by a picturesque small arched bridge. This has a uniquely designed wooden gazebo sitting astride the centre of the bridge which serves as a small dining area. There is a further pool on an upper level for adults only with spectacular views, along with a terrace bar and restaurant. For guests wishing to sunbathe by the sea, there is a beachclub with terraced platforms and a jetty located below the hotel. a few minutes walk down the hill.
“ Hotel was very friendly and about 10 min walk to the town centre, hotel rooms very clean and staff were helpful in every way, I would certainly recommend this hotel and areb looking to book for next year.

A charming property that sits in a fantastic position close to both the resort centre and the beach. Rooms are both spacious and tastefully decorated these are nicely complemented by the relaxed atmosphere that pervades throughout the hotel. Views from the hotel are fantastic, particularly good sea views can be enjoyed from the roof terrace - here you can also dine or simply enjoy an evening drink.

Hotel is ideally located for admiring the fantastic views of bay of Kalkan. All rooms which are decorated in neutral colors, have private shower, balcony, hair dryer and direct dial telephone. There are two white buildings. This is a fantastic property and it is conveniently located. There is a swimming pool. (03/06 SB) © Donvand Limited 2009
“ I have stayed at the Samira Hotel 5 times and have never been disappointed. It is very clean and the same staff have been there every time we have stayed and nothing is to much trouble. We stayed half board this time and we were put in a one bedroom apartment, it gave us more room.
