The Vila Recife is situated in the entrance of the lovely centre of Albufeira, surrounded by a beautiful gardens with palm trees. A great selection of bars, restaurants and shops are just few minutes away. The beach is also a short walkway, down some steps. All of the 92 bedrooms of the hotel are equipped with telephone and TV.
The reception is open 24 hours a day. You will also find other facilities like a breakfast room, a satellite TV lounge and a bar with snacks.

This Hotel is just a road away from the square and in an elivated position,great for eating out or shopping.As everythings so near.
The maid comes in every day at whatever time suits you,just pop the card they
leave you on the door.We had air conditioning a kettle,microwave and a fridge.

Go through the tunnel to the beach 3 min walk
Would live there if we could
And id go back next week if possible

We stayed here week 18th Oct 2011 - 25th October. The hotel needs some work to the interior especially the doors, but overall you get what you pay for and the position of the hotel - near all the facilities of the old town and a few minutes to the beach - far outweighs the negatives.
You get a maid in every day with clean towels, etc, and we stayed in room 504 right at the top where there is a roof terrace overlooking the old town which was lovely in the day (a sun trap) and stunning at night with all the lights. The lift is fast and never broke down.
Only negative is the hilly position and not suitable for anyone with walking disabilities as I found to my cost!
Food and drink, generally, in Albufeira seemed quite pricey to us.

We stayed here in October and only paid 260 pounds for two for a week, the hotel was excellent, great location five minutes walk into the centre.
Breakfast was continetal but still enjoyable.
Hotel was great as it didnt have many children in and floor 4 and 5 also have roof terraces which have a excellent view of the town,
The rooms had twin beds but were clean and tidy and bedding and towels changed every day, the maids were wonderful, hotel staff also vewry helpful.
Would definately stay at this hotel again and are looking forward to going back again next year.
Would dedinetly use travel republicv again for holidays could not fault their service.

“ Hotel in a great location. basic but rooms cleaned every day. staff pleasant and very helpful. very close to the beach and all the entertainment. stayed here twice the year and will return next year without doubt.
“ Top Tip: Great Indian restaurant called The Indian Ocean. turn left outside hotel and down hill then right, and its just on your right after the lift down to the beach. fantastic food!

Terrace club is situated in the quiet area of Alporchinhos, just 350 metres from the picturesque beach of Nossa Senhora da Rocha and 2.5 km from the famous beach of Armacao de Pera. The complex offers 185 apartments with balcony, heating, satellite TV, direct dial telephone, safety deposit box, and kitchen. It provides cleaning 4 times a week, change of towels and linen once a week, laundry and dry cleaning services. Facilities include outdoor swimming pool for adults and children with a pool bar, playground and a panoramic restaurant and bar.

The Ouratlantico Apartments offers excellent value for an outstanding hotel in Portugal's much loved tourist spot Albufeira. Perfectly situated in peaceful Praia de Oura yet close enough to the famous Strip bustling with international restaurants, bars, clubs and cosmopolitan shops. This hotel is only a short 500m from one of Portugal's world famous family friendly golden sandy beaches. Local tips: Albufeira is steeped in history not all of it Portugese, indeed the name Albufeira is actually Arabic in origin and translates to mean "Sea Castle", and you can see from looking around the old quarters some of the original castles' remains - specifically near the walled part along the Rua Joaquim Pedro Samora and further down the same road you will come across 2 tiled plaques which mark the spot where 2 of the original doors to the walled city would have stood. Look around the old town and you are sure to see lots of other markers of other times and eras.
“ We were very surprised when we arrived at Ouratlantico Apartments as the deal was excellent. The standard of the rooms surpassed our expectations considering the price we paid. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and the location was ideal for visiting the strip, although far enough away to be quiet and peaceful.

The hotel was built in 1983 and completely renovated in the year 2004. It offers a total of 95 rooms spread over 5 floors, of which 2 are single rooms, 89 are double rooms and 4 are suites. Amongst the facilities count a stylish foyer with 3 lifts, safes, a currency exchange desk and a 24-hour reception. In addition, there is a games room, a TV room, several shops, a wine boutique, a cafe, a cosy bar and an air-conditioned restaurant with separate non-smoking area and highchairs for infants.
